Advanced to Gold and a Legendary Card Reward!

Greetings to all Splinterlands players and hive gaming community! I'm keeping with my daily Splinterlands grind and have advanced to Gold III. To my surprise, I got a nice legendary card reward for advancing to a higher league. Here is the legendary card I received.

Kervik Legendary Water Card

What I like about Kervik is he cost only four mana. The mana is very low compared to his attack. In addition, he has a sneak skill. I can place him in the back to attack with melee. I don't have to put him in the front where his low health and lack of shield will be a liability. Right now, my team is mostly made up of magic attackers. Having Kervik will include a possible melee attacker in the team. He can easily occupy a slot due to his low mana cost.

For example, check the game I just played.

It was a low mana game with twenty five. I don't have enough good low mana cards to play so the timing of Kervik was just right. I put him in my line up together with Shock Trooper, Torrent Sniper and Asel Alagosdil. They made a good team consisting of a a defensive tank followed by two magic and one sneak attacker.

My opponent had more troops in his line up. Even though he has the advantage in numbers, my cards had more attack and defeated the opponent quickly.

Join a Guild

If you are a player with few cards in your deck. Join a guild that can assist you to grow in Splinterlands. You can join brawls to earn SPS, enjoy reward multipliers and shop discounts. Since joining a guild, I'm adding my cards by buying from the shop and the market. This makes the game more fun and add progression. If you're not a guild member yet, now is the time to find one.

As a guild member do your part by having the right cards and showing up in the fray you have joined in brawls.
