Pizza A Slice of Madness Brawl Report

Greetings to all Splinterlands players and gaming community! Welcome to Pizza A Slice of Madness Brawl Report. Thanks to all our guild members who participated and helped us achieve sixth place. It's another tough field with a couple of Team Possible guilds taking first and third places.

Overall Guild Rank: Sixth Place

We finished with in sixth place, worse than last week's fourth place. We won 70 games and lost 26 earning 63 crowns. The fifth placer Legion of Angels PH had five more wins with 75 but also had 69 losses. It looks like they had more games than us. We probably need more members to fill more frays to have higher placements in the future.

Top Brawl Participants and my Personal Rank

Among the brawl participants in our guild, I tied in tenth to eleventh places with four wins and four losses. I encountered higher level cards this week and better gladiators. I need to level up my cards and have legendary gladiator cards to be more competitive.

Selected Games
Battle 1

The battle is between single units, both gladiators. Mine was Gorth while my opponent's was Palidon Rakk. Players don't usually have both these gladiators in battles but because there were not a lot of choices and the mana was low, we had to use the best available in our cards. This battle shows that every card will find its use and no card is useless. My Gorth had the higher attack of five while other stats are equal. This gave me the advantage and won the game.

Battle 2

The next battle was for twenty six mana. My opponent and I almost used the same cards. The difference was I had legendary Mystic Scaleweaver against my opponent's epic Saltwater Mage. He gave away the win by not having the strongest card.

Battle 3

The next game is also a twenty six mana battle. My opponent doesn't have that many cards. The team he put up were only cards that came from the campaign missions. I had better cards like epics Saltwater Mage and Asel Alagosdil. My team had a gladiator card, two mana Alfredo.

Battle 4

I saved the best battle for last. The game had my Earth element and gladiator card Quora against my opponent's Water element and his gladiator card was a legendary Flagulon Reine. I don't have legendary gladiators yet and this is one good card that I hope to get.
I had Glimmermancer and three archers with Quora in the team. My opponent had a magic team. It helps that his gladiator was also a magic card that fits in the Water team. The big thing here is Quora's healing skills that helped her even if she was damaged by thorns from the Briar Patch modifier. On the opponent's side, better would have been Asel Alagosdil to replace Spellmonger and Mystic Scaleweaver instead of Great Bear Druid. It would give his team more offense and defense.

Spending the Rewards
I was able to buy one chest from my rewards. There were no new cards from this batch that I got.

Conclusion
We earned 3,500 merits and 21 SPS from the brawl. With regular brawls, it adds to my SPS tokens weekly. I'm grateful to my guild for accepting me as a member and gave me a regular spot to join the brawls and earn guild rewards.
