Reaching Gold I in Modern Format and Testing Elowen Sylphie

Greetings to all Splinterlands players and hive gaming community! A new card I borrowed from our library is a legendary archon Elowen Sylphie. It was made available by one of the officers, @aironeous. He helped me a lot by donating cards and delegating through the library. The cards I borrowed helped me reach Gold I in the Modern format. This is a huge help from our guild and I really appreciate the assist.
I'm an advocate of joining a guild. They made the game more fun and helped me reach new heights. The buildings provide certain benefits like shop discounts and reward multipliers. The weekly brawls help us earn SPS and gladiator cards through merits. I also received help from my guild mates with card donations that empowered my deck. In return, I do my part as a guild member by winning in brawls and occasionally contributing DEC to our buildings.
Elowen Sylphie
This legendary Earth archon is the same as Dragonlord Mancer that I wrote about the other day. It gives no stats but has strong abilities. It gives Charge skill to Avian and Mundane Beasts. I only have two cards that can take advantage of this skill. Halaran Huntress and Ironwing Juggernaut already have this skill by themselves so they don't benefit from the archon.
What makes Elowen Sylphie good are the two skills that can be given to two units.
Resurgence is an overpowered skill in my opinion. A unit who has it self resurrects once per battle with 100% health and armor. All debuffs are removed and all buffs are reapplied. The archon can give the ability to two chosen units giving an edge in the game.
Trample is for melee units that has high attacks. After using a melee attack to defeat a unit, performs another melee attack against the unit in the next position. I don't have many melee units to take advantage of this skill, only Doomshield Warden and Dire Bear.
Game 1
For legendary archons, they are best in high mana games to allow the best units that fit the skills they give. I don't have many good melee units, the only units I have that I can benefit from Elowen Sylphie are Doomshield Warden and Dire Bear. In this game, I have many high mana cards with high attac that were able to use. Cards like Forlorn Geomant, Silverleaf Mage and Living Berm made up my team. The modifier works in my favor because the cards have no skills but they can still use those that came from the archon. My opponent had a Foundation archon that gave only +1 magic attack and no skills.

Game2
Another high mana game with almost the same cards. I changed the archer with Mindless Thrall. My opponent had the magic team again but this team is not that strong. He used mostly melee units when he should have used magic to use the archon's +1 magic attack.

Game 3
I tried Elowen Sylphie in lower mana games. As long as the skills were given to my two tanks Doomshield Warden and Dire Bear, the chance of winning is high. My opponent had a higher level archon and units but having two units with Resurgence is a huge advantage.

Join a Guild
If you are a player with few cards in your deck. Join a guild that can assist you to grow in Splinterlands. You can join brawls to earn SPS, enjoy reward multipliers and shop discounts. Since joining a guild, I'm adding my cards by buying from the shop and the market. This makes the game more fun and add progression. If you're not a guild member yet, now is the time to find one.
As a guild member do your part by having the right cards and showing up in the fray you have joined in brawls.
