Splinterlands SocMed Challenge: My Games with New Reward Cards

Greetings to all Splinterlands players! The 43 new reward cards are live in the glint shop. I first bought the common cards and use them in my games. This will be the topic of today's Social Media Challenge.

The common cards are the cheapest to buy. One common draw only cost 300 glints each. I bought a hundred chests to start and the next I will buy are rare chests.

All my common cards are level two and I have two rare cards that are level one. There are strong cards like Surge Blade, Coral Forged, Husk of the Hunter and Stonebind Matron are my favorite cards. Poor Djinn Oshannus! One of the best reward cards in Chaos Legion and look what happened to him. He lost his magic and he's now a common card.

The fire element has two new low mana cards. Likewise, the light element has low mana cards two and one has Flying skill. Death element has two new melee units while neutral has two useful cards including Oshannus Unmade.

Level two common is good for me already. The next cards I will buy are rare and then epic. I should also increase the levels of my archons so I will play in both Modern and Frontier formats.

I like using Coral Forged in my games. It pairs very well with other melee units like Commander Slade, Giant Alpine Skink and Great Bear Druid because of Flank skill. I use it in most of my games and it made me use the Water element a lot.

In the game, I used the two new Water reward cards. The rule is Up Close & Personal - you can only summon units with melee attacks. I used Water even though the archon is for magic units. The new Water cards are strong melee units.

Coral Forged is an elemental with flank skill. On his own, he has two melee attack. I can pair him with other melee units and I mostly use Commander Slade who has three melee attacks.

Surge Blade is a djinn with two melee attacks and charge skill. She can attack with melee from the back.

I also had three Frontier cards in the team. Vengeful Monk has two melee attacks. Great Bear Druid can attack with melee and magic. New Beluroc Aegis is included to Taunt the opponent's attackers.

My opponent has a level five archon with the Fire units. His first two units are stronger than mine. He had the Drybone Megalodon with four attacks and Chaos Orc with three attacks. He had two cards with Opportunity skill, Mad Ogre Anarchist and Vengeful Monk. He also had the Great Bear Druid in his team and a unit with sneak skill. My opponent had the stronger team. The difference is I had a unit with Taunt skill.

My cards were faster and defeated his tank combo. His team attacked my Beluroc Aegis but it had great defense. Although my opponent's team had stronger attack, my team's speed and Taunt skill were the keys to winning.

In another game, I chose the fire element. This time I used Oshannus Unmade and Cullborn Revenant, a magic card.

This time I had the Drybone Megalodon and Great Bear Druid Combo. They are followed by two magic units. Next are two archers units. Portly Cannoneer adds melee attack with his Inspire skill.

The magic units carried the game and were the keys to winning. I had two magic units in the middle with two attacks and one of them has Burst skill. They are very effective in defeating my opponent's units. Cullborn Revenant and Chaos Evoker will be my magic combo in the fire element.
