Imagine if for one week you did not have access to one. how will you cope? And how will that week go for you?

Once my aunt took my mobile and hide it somewhere so I can spend some family time without mobile.

But instead my reaction was horrible, i locked myself like in a room and kept asking to bring me mobile or I won't talk with anyone. but my cruel Aunt didn't returned it for 30 Days.

So for real I had lived 30 days without using Mobile and it was terrible time back in Pandemic.

if it was my childhood time without a Gaming computer, I would have a lot of things to make a memorable childhood instead of wasting on playing games 24/7, social media like today's Gen Z kids.

Imagine For a week it's a childhood of 90s kid and you did not have access to Gaming PC or mobile phone then this is how I will cope or spend it.

Watching Cartoons of our Time

Waking up in the early morning of Sundays, we used to turn on our television to watch some best cartoons show of our time.

And kids in 2022 wakes up, it's Sunday morning and the first thing would be to turn on PC/Mobile whatever and start playing Games on it

The Teachers Copy vs What They Give You 24082022014010.jpg

Or also some kids of Gen Z or mostly do watch Cocomelon and they don't even know Mr bean, Courage the cowardly dog, SpongeBob, Ben 10 like cartoons are best ever shows.

Playing Sports with friends

When i won't be able to use gaming PC then simply in childhood times one of our choices are playing Sports with Friends but y'all know parents restrictions or limitation.

So we can't play whole day but enough to not think about playing Games on PC.

And sports of many type according to culture in Europe football or like are popular sports while in our side of world Cricket is most famous.

Today's kids aren't same because of Mobiles or PC games, no interest in sports or activities it happens mostly when a kid is addicted with mobile/PC.

Cards, Chess tournaments, other activities

One of best thing about being a 90s kid was lot of activities, adventure and fun experience.

Trying new thing's all day instead of repeating the same routine using or playing games all day now.

Doge Playing Chess 24082022023233.jpg

Grab a kid and will be like chess game oh I only know Fortnite, wanna play?

I will spend my time playing chess 1 on 1 tournament in street and cards or other activities to spend my week without a Gaming PC.

Family Gatherings

The only reason why my aunt took my mobile for 30 days was because of my disconnection from family.

Like it is important to sit on family gatherings talking on random topic for long time without getting bored.

It Is something seen rare in today's kid all they know is buy me a big Mac from macdonald, Get me an Xbox or playstation and Gaming PC, A good mobile phone or headphone

And a Gaming chair to chill 24/7 sticking on to PC screens.

FIN.

We Can cope and live without Computer or mobile phones even in this century. All we need is to think about what we were doing before getting used to with today's technology.

Those childhood days is just one example to explain this. People say it's impossible to live without mobile or computer for a day but somehow we all have lived years without it.

It's just a matter of times that we adapt new thing's and get addict or so used to with it.

Hopefully everyone had a fun time reading this and can relate to it with your childhood somehow. I would love to hear your thoughts on this in comment and do not forget to hit Upvote, comment and share if you enjoyed it.

Greetings!
Thanks for reading.

Wow, @idksamad78699 excellent publication, very thoughtful. I share with you the idea that everything in excess is harmful. And today many families have become estranged by cell phones and computers. We must rescue conversations and sharing with family and friends.
Greetings.

It is good saw you now see your aunt as a person that wanted the best for you rather than the cruel person you initially painted her. I guess you now truly understand! Nice one!

Hi @idksamad78699 I am reading your post which is very thoughtful and instructive. We must recover the sharing in family, with friends. We are sometimes very saturated by technology. How wonderful to take a walk and enjoy nature.
Thank you for sharing.
Happy week to you.

Kids back in the 90s were able to live without internet facilities because they didn't have it. Computers weren't ubiquitous back then as it is now and so they could live without what they didn't even know existed.

Relate!! My son is also very addicted to the phone and games like minecraft. It's a good thing he doesn't know roblux because there's always a fee. But it's good that when I saw our chess board again, he got into the habit of playing it.

kids nowadays. 😬😄

Aghhh, I am complacent tbh,. his tablet also has an applock and it hides everything he should not open... including the Shopee app. i also manage the youtube account dso he will not be able to watch some adult vids.

In chess, yeah, he likes to play with my dad. It's a good bonding too.

Gaming was such a big part of my life because my generation was the main target market... GenX. And my mom had a very good way to make me stop playing games and go out side... she hides the game console. hahahaha!~ In order for me to get it back I have to do what she says.... hahahah!~ good times.

The gaming era of GENx was truly one of the best and OG Games!!

Haha this is so adorable, hiding the game console that's kind of something so cute!

Really Good old times ~ wish we could live it once again.

As OG Gamers I can really say that we GenX have seen it all.... 8,16,24,32,64 bit graphics/audio, polygons, OG Doom, Contra, Final Fantasy, Counter Strike, Half Life, Halo.... ooo man... the progress of it all.... how an 8bit mario character can become stuff we see today like in CyberPunk 2077.... just crazy and so happy to see it in the making of it all. :)

I also love to watch cartoons but in recent time I don't watch tv. I used to watch cartoons in pc and mobile.

Family gathering is the thing which seems very important in my opinion because in recent days we are getting too busy with smartphone and pc that we hardly get time for family.
