My Actifit Report Card: August 17 2025

It was an amazing day for me because I accomplished almost all my tasks today.

I went early to the nursery hoping to start the day with a bang because it was Sunday and Sunday means more business. Families come to the nursery to buy plants for their gardens.

School-going kids with their parents. Sometimes there are a few doctors and sometimes there are a few business owners who took time to come to the nursery to add some beauty to their homes.

But they started with a customer who came in like a breeze and bought some really good plants. And without any hassle, without any bargaining, without much discussion, he bought a dozen plants and went back.

I was happy because I like it when there is no fuss from the customer.

It has been raining for the last 4-5 days and the weather is pretty good. The sun hardly shines and it's foggy and cool.

At the nursery it's very pretty because all the plants are looking really nice. Some plants like the rose are getting damaged because lack of sunlight and too much water. I hope there will be some sunlight soon.

But I'm enjoying this weather. I haven't had the chance to water the plants because the rain does what it does. Plants grow really well in rain.

Two of my workers came today and I asked them to clean some of the plants. I haven't been getting much time to do the cleaning. I get tired easily these days and it's been raining for the last few weeks.

A lot of cleaning was pending and today the workers did a really good job. Tomorrow I'm thinking of continuing the cleaning. Some plants have got damaged and I need to prune them because too much rain sometimes hurts the plants.

In the evening, I was sitting outside the nursery watching the plants. Watching my workers work. And I was watching the skies. The dark, grey clouds floating above. Above my city and a sprinkle of rain every now and then.

Birds going home and bats roaming around in the evening. In the darkness of the night. I wanted to stay out but I had some work. So I came back home and did what I had to do.

I have a few things that I have planned for tomorrow. Hopefully I will be able to do all of them. And hopefully tomorrow will be as good as it was today.
