Sir, I have a question. Would a Biblical Counselor need to study the psychogical teachings that are present all over the world to be better equipped to counsel someone or would ample study of the Bible be enough?

I encounter similar question when I was taking the MABC course. Two of my colleagues were clinical counselors. They misinterpreted the professor and thought that their training in psychology was useless. The professor corrected and commended them at the same time. Their bachelor's degree in psychology gave them an edge when it comes to describing the details of the problem of the counselee and also in procedural terms. However, as discussed in the class, what biblical counselors need are not additional "marbles," but new "eyeglasses" provided by the Christian theistic worldview based on the Bible.
