This week's theme is "Deeplurker", it's one of my favorite cards so far on Chaos Legion Edition, and here is my entry for this week's theme. I hope you learn something and enjoy it.

Water is one of my favorite splinters and I am planning to make this my main splinter, Deeplurker is also one of my favorite cards in terms of damage and I use this card a lot! Who would not use an opportunistic heavy-hitting beast right? Well, you better pray he is in your team!

Let me show you a battle with my favorite splinter and with Deeplurker one of my favorite cards.

THE MATCH

Rulesets

The rulesets are Target Practice, and Heavy Hitters, available mana is 46, and the available splinters are:
Fire , Water , Life, and Dragon

Target Practice - All Ranged and Magic attack Monsters have the Snipe ability.
Tips: You can put a no attack, range, or magic monster with defense against magic or has thick armor, so he can absorb all the damage at least enough for 1 or 2 rounds.

Heavy Hitters - All monsters have the knockout ability.
All your monsters will deal double damage to the stunned opponent, so it is good to use a monster with stun in this ruleset. This ruleset is not a big thing in Silver League but could be a good ruleset in the Gold and above league.

Line-up

  • Kelya Frendul - My favorite summoner so far in Chaos Legion rare summoners, it gives +1 armor and +1 speed to all your monsters in the field.
  • Deimonshark - A rare tank in the Chaos Legion Edition, it is one of my favorite tanks with Trample and Enrage, it is like a cheap level 2 Magnor.
  • Djinn Oshannus - A legendary reward card with Void and has a huge HP pull a perfect secondary tank in Target Practice ruleset. It has good defense against magic and against Range attackers it also has huge 6 mana with Kelya too.
  • Deeplurker - A common monster in Chaos Legion Edition that has awesome offensive stats, you would think it is a Rare or an Epic card. It also has the Opportunity which just made it even better.
  • Merissa Tridawn - An Epic card on the Chaos Legion edition, it has high magic damage and can easily Nuke anyone in a blink of an eye.
  • Axemaster - Another Killer! It is an Epic card that can dish out great damage to opponents with his Double Strike ability he is killing opponents like crazy!
  • Kulu Swimhunter - Another common in Chaos Legion Edition with decent damage, speed, and health, could be a good meat shield on the backline.

The Battle

  • Round 1 - His tank was easily terminated by my monsters, his thick shield and his high health couldn't stand the assault from my heavy-hitting and high-magic nuke monsters. His tank has the Taunt ability, and since it is dead his backline is now open for the second assault that my monster would do on the second round. I did not even lose any monster in the first round.

  • Round 2 - It was an even easier round, he manage to kill my backline meat shield, but he didn't do any real damage to my core cards and all his backline is dead aside from the Venari Crystalsmith, which would probably die at the start of Round 3. It is really great to see Deeplurker do the finishing blows!

  • Round 3 - At the start of the round Venari Crystalsmith feel down, and now I only have 2 core cards to take care of, and you would think that it would be a challenge to kill Cornelius, but sorry to disappoint you, but it didn't even take the sweat out of my monsters body. At the end of the round, only the lonely
Sandworm is left alive and he just wished that he stayed under the Sand.

  • Round 4 -
Basically this is the end of the round, The Sandworm has run for his life and dug up a hole and fled in the sand. He is nowhere to be found.

Thought Process

When fighting in Target Practice ruleset where every range and a magic monster has the Snipe ability, always make sure that if you put a no attack, range, or magic on the second third or even in the 4th, 5th, and last position if they are the only no attack, melee, or magic, that they have at least good armor and or a magic defense since they will be targeted first by the opponents magic, and ranged attacker. Putting the Oshannus in the second position is the perfect example since it has huge health and it has a defense against magic, and always put them in front of other range and magic attackers so they will hit them first, before hitting your other backline if you don't use range or magic, or monster with no attack, they will hit your tank so if you go that way, make sure your tank can withstand every heavy blows since it is a high mana battle so you can expect monsters with heavy damage.

Again Deeplurker is one of my favorite cards since he can deal massive damage on the enemy team when they show weakness. But remember, in real life don't show weakness to Opportunistic people so they won't take you for granted or take advantage of you and deal massive damage in your life that you can never take back or overturn.

That's all for today! See you next week!
