Alive And Thriving|| Thankful Thursday ||Grateful For Everything

Warm greetings everyone at Hive and We Are Alive Tribe Community. How are you doing today? As for me, I'm doing pretty cool. Welcome to a brand new day and welcome to my blog. It's indeed awesome to be alive and thriving.

Two days ago I made a post about how my phone has been switched off for days due to a power outage which is as a result of continuous rain since this month of July ( my country Nigeria’s system, seldomly supplies power during the rainy season, lol). Which also affected my hive tasks and online business. This situation almost got me angry but on a second thought I asked myself “will anger change the situation I have no control over?” The response to myself made me detach my mind from it and focus on things I have control of.

Whatever that happens in our lives happens for a reason, those we have the control to change, we do. But those we do not, we move on and focus on the things we can control. This mindset helps to guide our mental health and save us from unnecessary drama and some avoidable health challenges. I'm grateful to reason towards that direction and take the right steps. I'm thankful for the challenges that come my way, they make me stronger and for the victories, they increase my faith.

Last night power was restored and I was able to recharge my phone's battery and do some of the things I could not do for the past three days now. I'm so grateful for that, and for the eight days of non-stop rain. At least farmers need it to nourish their plants, some other persons who have been experiencing heat also need it to cool the weather temperature. Every season is for a reason. Whether it's rainy, sunny, or cloudy it's for a reason and we should be thankful for it.

I'm immensely thankful for the sunny weather we had today. It afforded me the opportunity to do some laundry by seizing the opportunity. I'm thankful to God Almighty that the weather had no negative effects on my kids resulting from cold. I'm super grateful for life and sound health, physically, mentally, body and soul. Having amazing family and supportive friends is priceless. I'm also super grateful for this community for coming up with this idea of #thankfuthursday, the love and support is awesome. I can't thank you enough.🙏

It's amazing how you managed to transform such a frustrating situation into an opportunity to reflect and grow.

It's not acceptable to switch off the electric grid every time it rains! It simply indicates the "lack of standard" of the service! They need to improve the system.

The rain is necessary, no doubt. So does the electricity, without which our current era stands still!

That's the point, both are needed . Our corrupt leaders know what to do to give a steady power supply but refused to do it.
