We may not remember everything that has happened in our lives, but there are surely things that stay in our memories which we can recall. Furthermore, movies and music can serve as a time machine, as they can bring back some of our old memories.
Let's start in 1995. I remember that I was consistently in the top 10 from the first to the third grading periods. However, I fell out of the top 10 (ranking #11) during the fourth (and final) grading period. Thus, I was unable to make it to the honor list. I admit, I was never a studious student.
Meanwhile, we already had cable TV at that time, and we were able to watch even the newest movies. The cable company probably bought pirated DVDs or VCDs then to show the films on their community channels. The first "Toy Story" film was released that year, and I saw it more than 10 times. The movie "Casper" also became famous then. My cousin had a crush on Devon Sawa, who appeared briefly when Casper turned into a human alongside Christina Ricci's character.
In music, Alanis Morissette debuted her biggest album—and one of the biggest sellers of all time—"Jagged Little Pill". TLC had their time scoring hit after hit from their album "CrazySexyCool". Michael Jackson returned with his album "HIStory: Past, Present and Future, Book I", which sold more than 20 million copies, while Mariah Carey released her record-breaking album "Daydream".

Tuesday

So very hot again last night. It's difficult to sleep with the temperature because waking up in the morning feels like you have worked for an entire day.
