Can't Smile / Monday / Going Home from Mangatarem

Can't Smile
You may get caught up in problems and envy people you see who are happy. That's what I felt at the time when my mother was suffering from cancer. I tried not to expect that she’d be disease-free, and even her doctor told us that we would go through a denial stage.Whenever I was outdoors, especially when riding the bus, I would see people laughing and smiling. They looked so happy. I felt so envious and wished I could be happy like them. Even a brief smile was impossible because of the pain and worries I had for my mother. Problems do take away happiness, especially if the life of a family member is at risk.
Monday
We have to wake up early because we will be volunteering for KH construction. Everything was good during the day, and we have accomplished a lot.
Going Home From Mangatarem
Going home from Mangatarem, we have to pass through the towns of Bugallon and Aguilar. The pictures were captured while going home after a successful support for sign language field service there.
