Cutting Down of Trees

Numerous trees were cut down in the Pangasinan Capitol Complex, and we're half of kilometer away from that place. Three years ago, more than 60 trees were already cut down, and it was protested by people, including environmentalists and locals. Then it was scheduled that 190+ trees will be cut down. People has been protesting about it, and it took years before it was carried out. I have heard from a worker in the Capitol that they're spraying chemicals to the trees so it will appear that it's drying out to justify the cutting of trees. Too bad, the Department of Environment and Energy Resources (DENR) gave permit to the cutting down of trees.

Thursday

I'm not quite feeling well due to sore throat and colds building up. I hope it will still be prevented. It's just unexpected that I sneezed yesterday. Perhaps, I had contact with someone who has virus.

Before Trees Were Cut Down

I have a lot of pictures in the Capitol Complex which showcases the beauty with a lot of trees. Since almost everything were gone, for the do miss those days. It's all merely history.
