Grieving

Grieving has no expiry period. It can stay within you when you lost someone you deeply loved, and it can only lessen the pain. My father had passed on January 2011, which was 15 years ago. Sounds like a long time ago but the pain isn't gone, but on a lower degree.

However, a friend of mine passed few days ago. He's at mid-60s, and there are times he and my father had been together for an assignment from our organization. His demise came as a shock for everyone, it's very saddening. I'm fully aware though about what he had experienced the past few years. Hence, I'm grieving now as his passing coincides with the same month as my father.

Thursday

I'm feeling better but I still have colds and cough. I'll be staying at home until fully recovered but I need to go somewhere this weekend. My wife is feeling better, and I'm thankful.

Large Lands

I got to visit the western parts of our province. I noticed large lands in those towns, and agriculture is a main source of income for many. The sad part, rains and typhoons hit them badly this past calendar year.
