Lesson
I still can't get over the school shooting which left three dead and caused numerous injuries. I can't imagine the pain of the victims' families. Recently, there was a stabbing incident that injured another student. It makes me wonder what is happening in schools. Is the government really failing to protect our children when these kinds of incidents keep happening?
I also recently finished watching the series "Teach You a Lesson." The show is about a government task force created to discipline delinquent students and those who disrupt school safety. One of the central themes is bullying, which causes severe distress to both students and teachers. In one episode, the bullies commit crimes but claim they won't be imprisoned because they are minors. The authorities immediately release them after they are caught simply because of their age.
But what about the victims, who are also minors? The series is incredibly timely since school violence is currently happening in real life, making it highly relatable for many viewers. That is exactly why the series became so popular.
Wednesday
It's so gloomy this morning. We're supposed to support our sign language field service today but it rained. It will be difficult traveling with a tricycle when it's raining. We decided to stay at home, and created a playlist as an invitation for our RC instead.
Carrot Farms
There goes the carrot farms at those mountain terraces. We got to visit some, and it's fun to harvest some of them.
