On the Bus

On the bus, a stressed-looking woman just took her seat. She was heading home after a demanding day at work. Right after her shift, she had gone to the supermarket to buy groceries for her household.
A man seated next to her was chatting with his wife. He looked incredibly happy because he had bought food for his family after a hard day of construction work. Although he was exhausted, joy was visible on his face because he had brought home something for his family to enjoy for dinner.
Another woman then boarded the bus. Unfortunately for her, she had to stand because the bus was already full. She took a selfie, inadvertently capturing the construction worker in the background. After taking the picture, she posted it on social media, complaining about men who refuse to give up their seats for women.
Her post immediately gained traction, but it quickly backfired as people criticized her for being entitled. The post eventually reached the construction worker's wife. She left a comment explaining that her husband was exhausted from manual labor and was simply happy to bring food home to his family. This comment received overwhelming support, while the original poster (OP) faced severe backlash for attempting to shame the man.

Saturday

I woke up early so I can prepare for our sign language field service. There's a scheduled brownout for 7 hours so I got everything charged with our lights, gadgets, rechargeable fan, and mini fans. However, the power interruption was postponed for tomorrow.

Late Afternoon Walk

It's a beautiful late afternoon for a walk. Enjoyed the breeze from the sea, and the beautiful views of the park.
