Rivalries

Rivalry in music is common, especially in pop music. Back in the 1990s, the media played a role in these rivalries. One example is Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey, both gifted with powerful and soulful vocals. However, their debuts were half a decade apart, with the former coming out first in 1985. The two artists broke the rivalry rumors with claims that they became friends after collaborating on their hit Prince of Egypt theme, "When You Believe."
Another rivalry that became a media feast was between the then-young female R&B stars Brandy and Monica, who collaborated on the worldwide hit song "The Boy is Mine." Instead of proving the rivalry was untrue, the collaboration led to a misunderstanding between the two.
Regardless, such rivalries have even become subjects of publicity. They can have either positive or negative impacts on artists' careers.

We're early to wake up so we can prepare for a long travel. Our destination will be in Zambales for one week of volunteering. Hopefully, everything will turn out well for everyone.
