Walking Away

Walking away can be the response to disrespect. The self-control you had to avoid confrontation just to maintain peace and alleviate the situation. Responding in anger will only escalate the tension. Besides, it will stop the painful words that you have to bear.

However, some people are overly confrontational. Despite walking away, they'll follow to provoke you to anger. Such a test of faith and temper, yet a negative response will even make it worse. I've been in such situation, and I let them talk. I felt the pain but it will pass.

Wednesday

Quite early to wake up, but I have a lot to do before I go to the site. While walking, I noticed a lot of vehicles, the light ones, taking the different route. Probably, they're avoiding LTO (Land Transportation Office). Well, they may have violations or trying to avoid the authority because some of them are corrupt. I saw it first hand in the past.

Far-flung

We recently accepted an assignment, which is a humanitarian aide for the affected ones by the typhoon. We were transferred to a far-flung area on our third day, and I took the pictures.
