You're not too far off, and you'll find your account grows astronomically as your stake gets larger. When I got to about your HP I really noticed it snowball. I'd say if you posted every day and stayed active here you wouldn't have a problem hitting 10k.
I'm actually not 100% sure how much HP is needed for account creation tokens, but I know that @steevc might have the answer. I think with your level you should have a few creation tokens, but I'm not 100% sure how they work.
Peakd's auto claim setting says I don't have enough but does not specify how close I am.

All good. I'm going to try to start producing diy maker content and bring followers into hive for discussions. I'm also working on setting up my own witness node. Should be ready in a few more days.

I've done all sorts of stuff. Model building, robots, game development pretty much a jack of all trades.

I make models out of polymer, but I'm still learning. I create aliens from the stories I write here on Hive.
I don't yet but I'm going to be starting one soon.
