Hi ladies, I'm a little late to participate today, but I'm not really doing this to win or compete. Honestly, it's because I like the questions and I think the initiative is cool. Here's one of my answers:
Hola ladies, hoy estoy un poco tarde para participar pero realmente yo no hago esto para ganar o concursar, sinceramente es porque me gustan las preguntas y me parece chévere la iniciativa. Por aquí dejo una de mis respuestas:
Are you one of those who prefers a house with or without a garden? Do you like plants? What do you do to take care of them?
I'm one of those people who likes a house with a garden and lots of plants. I thought I'd be a pretty simple person who would live in an apartment and that's it, with pretty simple and minimalist things. This is because in my childhood home there were always a lot of things everywhere, even things we didn't need. The garden was also quite large, and I remember having to sweep up the dry leaves all the time. I didn't like doing it when I was younger. Plus, I saw how my mom dedicated so much time to her plants that I thought it would be a very tiring job. Eventually I grew up with the idea of keeping everything simple for visual comfort and speed too, but you know how it is, the fruit never falls far from the tree, I discovered that I really like plants, nature in general and living in an apartment like I had always wanted did not make me entirely happy because I felt that something was missing from my life and it was that little color of the plants, that smell of wet earth, that place where I could put my bare feet and feel relief that they were filled with earth or natural grass ... Because of that feeling, little by little I have been adding plants to my apartment and I take care of them, I try to put them near the window and give them water or substrate when they need, I have collected several fruits and for the first time I even saw a flowering cactus, that has been the most beautiful gift I have ever had from myself, now I want to live in a house with a garden, I hope to achieve it at some point because the houses around here are not cheap at all.

Soy de las personas que les gusta una casa con jardín y con muchas plantas. Pensé que sería una persona bastante simple que viviría en un departamento y ya, con cosas bastante simples y minimalistas, esto debido a que en mi hogar de la infancia siempre han habido muchísimas cosas por todos lados y hasta cosas que no necesitábamos, el jardín también era bastante grande y recuerdo que yo debía todo el tiempo barrer las hojas secas, no me gustaba hacerlo cuando estaba mas pequeña, además veía como mi mamá dedicaba tanto tiempo a sus plantas que pensaba que sería un trabajo muy cansado de hacer. Eventualmente fui creciendo con la idea de mantener todo simple por comodidad visual y rapidez también, pero ya saben como es, la fruta nunca cae muy lejos del árbol, descubrí que realmente me gustan las plantas, la naturaleza en general y al vivir en un departamento como siempre había querido no me hizo del todo feliz porque sentía que algo le estaba faltando a mi vida y era ese colorcito de las plantas, ese aroma a tierra mojada, ese lugar donde poner mis pies descalzos y sentir un alivio de que se llenen de tierra o césped natural… Por ese sentimiento, poco a poco he ido añadiendo plantas a mi departamento y cuido de ellas, trato de ponerlas cerca de la ventana y darles agua o sustrato cuando necesitan, he recogido varios frutos y hasta por primera vez vi un cactus con flor, eso ha sido el regalo mas bonito que he tenido de mi para mi, ahora quiero vivir en una casa con jardín, espero lograrlo en algún momento porque las casas por aquí no son nada económicas.
