So sad to read how someone you considered "A friend" took advantage of your kindness. This is why most times when we decide to remain to ourselves, people think negatively about us, saying that introverts need to come out to the light, but what's the point in it when people can't be trusted?

We live in a era where it is too common, very well said that's the only reason i don't care about what people says i just keep things to myself can't trust anyone like that.
