It seems there was a disagreement over the Steemit software licence. These things are important to developers and it's a shame they couldn't find a compromise. We can still keep Steeming on
It's a great shock, and the market won't react well. I'm goin to sell and power down. If everything will recover, I will stop powering down and buy back my steem.
I'll keep posting and commenting, of course.
I'm sad to see Dan go, but to be honest if everyone "quit" everytime the leader of a company or project they were working with left for new horizons, the entire would would be huge pit of chaos.
For now, I'm going to take a "wait and see" stance and see what the plans are... there's more to Steemit than "just Dan."
