I kept talking, you were busy
When children want to talk they are actually asking for attention
Being ignored repeatedly makes them realize that what they are saying is not important and gradually they stop talking.
I kept crying, you didn't see.
A child's tears are often the pain of the voice.
When parents do not see this pain in their busyness
, the child learns that crying is useless
So he starts suppressing that pain within himself

A child's greatest need is not expensive things but to be heard and understood A few minutes of attention listening with eyes closed and a gentle answer can put a balm on a child's heart
