Bro this World Cup event match was stressing me. It was Borussia Dortmund vs Netherlands Legend and the only reason I even cared was for the 50 coins reward 😂 You know how efootball events be. If I didn’t win, no coins, and the whole event wouldn’t be complete. So I went into it knowing I had to win by any means. From kickoff I wasn’t trying to do too much fancy stuff. I just relaxed in my own half, kept my shape tight and waited. Netherlands Legend had all the possession and they were trying to play that tikitaka nonsense, but I was just watching for one mistake. That’s how I play these coin matches now. I just sit back and the moment they misplace one pass or push too high, I hit them with a sharp counter. No building up, no time wasting. First half was slow, boring even. They were dominating but couldn’t break me down. Then it happened — they lost the ball around midfield and I was gone. 3 passes later the ball was at Batistuta’s feet and he just buried it. 1:0. That screamer came out of nowhere but it was exactly what I needed 😕 My only shot on target all game and it went in. After that goal I just parked the bus. 1 goal was enough for me. I kept dropping deep, making tackles, clearing everything. They kept pushing but my defense was locked in and I made sure not to concede. Final whistle blew and I finally got the W. That 1:0 took me the 50 coins and I completed the event. Wasn’t pretty football at all, but in these events you don’t care about style points. Batistuta bailed me out again with that one goal.
