The Liability (Zapfic)

There was a zapfic 50 released today, which is where we write a story in 50 words, and we have to write our stories using the word, 'Liability' and trying to write a complete piece of fiction in a short amount of words can be pretty tough and a good exercise.

Here's The Prompt Post If You'd Like To Join In.

An eruption rocked the grounds of civilization.

From his position at the top of a mountain, overlooking the city, Aedon watched all he ever knew wash away in a tidel wave of flame.

"You had one job. Monitor the pressure gauge."

"I'm sorry," Sabast said, "it won't happen again, sir."

I've been thinking of this story; almost like an Anthology collection stories centering around two re-occuring characters who always seem to get themselves into trouble of some sort.

Everything from this, destroying a city, to smaller issues like crashing their ship and becoming stranded on a desolate world.

I think it could be pretty funny, and allow for some interesting storylines.

LOL yeah, when a volcano rips your civilization a new butthole, it usually isn't the type of mistake to happen twice. 🤣

Hahahhaa yeah that's the thing, although, they could find themselves in these situations often.

I'd really like the do a series of stories that revolve around two characters, or a re-occuring cast of people, who find themselves in many situations and scenarios where everything goes wrong for them.

There's a funny Star Wars comic called 'The Adventures of Tag and Bink' or something like that, and they are involved in and caused every bad thing to happen in Star Wars.

Like accidently kill uncle Owen, and aunt Beru and stuff like that. It's funny, and I'd like to do something simular to a certain extent.
