Love Makes Us Stupid

Greetings People! 🙌

The truth remains that we all turn stupid whenever we fall into the ocean of love; our brains are washed away and a new one (from another planet) replaces the space, making us feel and behave like we are in heaven while we are present in the hot, burning sun in world(referring to Nigeria).

I'm among those that appear to be in line with 'Indaboski: we don't preach love', but we do it secretly and codedly, after all, there's nothing wrong with practising a little of what you preach.

Let me put it clearly:

My immediate younger brother has been living with me for a while, and anytime he starts making all those loud, noisy, and lovey-dovey calls at night, I chase him outside to allow my ear to rest. I usually give him the attitude of "it's nonsense to be wasting airtime to make such calls".

Then, this same thing happened to me one season whenI mistakenly fell in love with a virtual friend, and we were keen on all manner of calls (social voice calls and video calls).
One night around 11:00 p.m, I was on call, laughing uncontrollably like I was injected with nitrogen II oxide, sitting on the table while my legs were resting on the chair, and my brother was on the bed trying to catch up with sleep. Little did I know that my noise was choking him, but he was finding it out to voice it out.

"You're shouting!" This was what I heard my brother say in a very angry tone.

This was the moment I realised that I was actually at the top of my voice, because before he summoned such courage to shun me, he must have been suffocated.

Love can just make someone do unbelievable things, even the things they vowed not to do.

A friend of mine once said that nothing will make him give a girl anything more than 2k. But when the mumu love knocked at his door, he ended up buying the girl an Infinix phone worth 80k. The girl served him a hot breakfast at the end though 🥱

I don't know how God created love, it has a strange way of resetting our brains whenever it comes to both gender.

Someone once said that it was actually affection(love) that made Eve to collect the fruit from Satan.
Like, Satan was wooing Eve to probably have a good time with her, and trust ladies whenever they hear sweet words, she fell completely for him, and boom, he ate the apple.

The same thing happened to Adam; Eve just gave him the apple with not more than two lines of words, and he collected the apple without his senses.

If love doesn't make us stupid, why do we always suffer Heartbreak?

We all know Heartbreak happens, right?
If we know, then why do we go into love and experience it?
I love reading breakfast stories, and I've read a lot.

I know of female friends who boldly declared that they will not experience heartbreak again in love; in fact, they will not love again until it's time for marriage.

But trust 'Adams', that's when they'll maneuvre their way into those hearts and scatter them to pieces.

Let me ask:
Can these guys enter those hearts and have their way if they're not permitted? No!
This is why I laugh at those ladies that prove strong to get; their stupidity on love turn out to be massive when it happens. I feel like mentioning names, but them go wipe me oraimo cord for my neck.🥱

No lies; I've been stupid countless times in love.
I once turned to a phone engineer to win my crush's heart.
Her phone got damaged, and I boldly collected the phone from her to repair myself because I did not have money. Along the line of trying to prove I was not, the phone got damaged the more, and I had to borrow more to take it to a phone engineer.

Let me drop the keyboard here.
