Finally, I am making my first post in PsyberX community. You know how awesome that is, right?

Oh, I bet you don’t!

Now, I don't have to be stressed out from thinking about the best community to post my psyberX content.

Should I post on Thgaming? I don't know!

What about Blockchain gaming? 🤦‍♂️ I still don't Know!

What about, Splinterlands Community? Hive Gaming community? I'm so confused 😕

Now I have a whole community ready and willing to accept my psyberx posts without me being bothered about who will read and who won’t read. 🥺🥺🥺

Now I have a community where I can share and rub minds on psyberx related issues on Hive, not just on our ever-growing discord channel.

I remember searching for the Community 3 days ago in my daily exploration on Hive, and I found it. Immediately, I subscribed to the PsyberX Community,

Since then, I sensed something hoooooooge (something huge) will happen. I waited patiently, and just about 16 hours ago I read the amazing post by @olebulls as a response to the challenge of @dynamicrypto. I was so happy, because it signaled a “go-ahead” sign to post in the community.

Hence, I am not posting because of the contest, well the contest is already over. I am posting because I have always wanted to do this in the ORIGINAL COMMUNITY OF PSYBERX.

So, I wish to begin a series where I will explain some features, concepts or ideas in and about PsyberX.

I will try my best to explain them in relatable terms for everyone to understand easily. I wouldn't call this PSYBERX FOR DUMMIES 🤣🤣🤣 Instead, I prefer to call it "PSYBERX FOR ALL"

This series will kick off the beginning of my ever-continuous posting on Psyberx Community. In this episode, I will focus on two major topics:

1. WHAT IS PSYBERX?
2. GAME PRODUCTION UPDATE

In discussing about What PsyberX Game is, I will breakdown the idea of First-Person Shooter (FPS), Play to Earn (P2E), Massive Multiplayer Online (MMO) and Role Playing Game (RPG). And in discussing the Game production update I will break down the ideas of Double A vs Triple A games, and Unity Assets vs Full 3d Artistic license.

I hope you enjoy this and I wish to get your feedback in order to improve my writing style.

WHAT IS PSYBERX? 🎮

PsyberX is a First-Person Shooter (FPS) Play to Earn (P2E) game that is currently developed on the Hive Blockchain by Royal Reptile Studios, with Justin Moore as the Founder and CEO.

Hold on!

Let’s break this down!

FIRST-PERSON SHOOTER (FPS)

By FPS game, we refer to combat games under the genre of Action Games. In games like this, the player plays the game from the perspective of the game character shooting or carrying weapon, such that it gives the player a first-hand experience as he or she controls the game character.

PLAY TO EARN (P2E)

By Play to Earn, we mean a game where you can play and earn Cryptocurrency and NFT.

PLAY TO EARN CRYPTOCURRENCY

Every blockchain game has its native tokens. These tokens are used for transactions inside the games: for instance, buying new guns, changing amour, changing skin colour or renting destructive equipment just to pass the next level in the game.

O yeah! The LVL is the in-game currency of PsyberX so you get to do transactions in and out of the game with that amazing currency.

PLAY TO EARN NFTs

In blockchain game, you can either win or purchase some available assets in the game like: Guns, Game Characters, Game Cards of various rarity, upgrading your assets or having a Land (yea, you can own a land in a game – this is a whole level in gaming world).

And these assets are undoubtedly NFTs.

These items can be used in the game, they can be rented out to other players for a fee (your passive income) and they can be auctioned in the game marketplace at a higher price (massive income).

Oh! Wait a second! That’s not all there is to know about the game.

It is also a Massive Multiplayer Online (MMO) game which has Role Playing Game (RPG).

MASSIVE MULTIPLAYER ONLINE

This is confusing to you, right? If it is, then check out this explanation:

I opened my laptop (or Mobile phone) to play a game, and at the same time my friend @starstrings01, living on the same street with me, is also online, playing the same game.

@mistrual staying in Ontario is also online, and @chosenfingers from Lilongwe in Malawi managed to come online even with the poor data connection in his village.

At the same time, we will be playing the game as allies (friends), enemies (opponents) or just neutral. I can decide to help out @mistrual in completing a task, while I abandon @chosenfingers to get his ass whipped by the Robots. Oh well, I can join in whipping @chosenfingers or setting a trap for @omosefe before she comes online.

You all should be afraid of me!!!!!!!!!

You now understand right? By Massive Multiplayer Online, you can have millions of players active and online at the same time from different locations, and you can become allies or opponents.

ROLE PLAYING GAME

Oh, now is time for the explanation of Role-Playing Game (RPG).

As a great cook and entrepreneur, @mistrual can decide to open a fast food restaurant or a club in the game, and all those who want some food or some club experience will pay with LVL (passive income there).

@draysax can build his hospital to treat the sick and injured, while @chosenfinger will continue his DJ work in the game. In doing this, they can earn passive income (the ingame currency – LVL).

Understood, right?

So, psyberx is a First-Person Shooter Play to Earn Massive Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game (FPS – P2E – MMO – RPG).

This is huge right?
O yes, it is!

But, be careful! It is not all rosy in the land of Zeelis as everyone is trying to take over and become the Master of Zeelis. While you have to be careful of your human opponent, be aware that you will meet dangerous Bandits, outlaws, rogue robots and Big Mechs.

The release date of psyberx game is still ending of the year, as @psyberx keeps informing us.

O well, but something has changed.

From AA to AAA

---

The initial plan of the development team was to release a Double A game (AA Game) – in simpler terms, AA Games are games where gaming companies work towards the production of a “good” game with smaller budgets.

But now, they are looking at developing a Triple A Game (AAA Game) – A game made by big companies to produce the “goodest” quality and the "best" standard of games, with large budget for marketing and development.

This looks like a 10000% increase in value and worth.

From Unity Asset to Full 3D Artistic License

In likewise manner, the initial plan of the development team was to make a game with Unity assets.

The Unity assets are game models or files that have already been developed by an already existing team. What you just need to do is to purchase these assets and use it in your new game project.

In other words, it is just like copy and paste (well, with editing and citation). But, it is not original!

But PsyberX said, NO!

"We will hire our own 3D artists and we will create all graphics by ourselves. This will give our users a different and unique gaming experience."

O Boy! I cant wait ooooo!

So Psyberx is looking at a Full 3D Artistic License... Mhen!!! 🔥

In doing this, psyberx's goal is now to compete with other top FPS MMO games like Fortnite, Halo, PUBG and Call of Duty.

But you know what? You’ll also earn crypto and NFTs while enjoying this wonderful game, unlike other games.
