I believe that in life there is room for different types of relationships, bonds and connections. When it comes to friendship, I think something similar happens. We have friendships according to the moment in our lives.

Just as there are lifelong friendships, there are also friendships that are forged during stages or moments of life that we go through.

Not for everyone will a friendship from childhood or elementary school be a significant relationship, the same happens with the friendships we make during our college years or at the office.

Each one is important and valuable during its momentum and certainly makes our routine more pleasant, because we don't always want to be alone, and that's what friendship provides: companionship and complicity, laughter and good times, although sometimes also drama.

That's why friendships made online or through the internet have special characteristics, like the other types that also have their own.

In my case, when I form a bond over the internet, I am aware that it can last an hour or a decade, and that it can be real or simulated, and many other factors.

But the essence of my online friendships is that for me they are a way to talk about any topic without fear of being judged or having a rumor spread where it shouldn't.

Maybe I'm very selfish and I show myself without filters and without masks, being sincere to the degree that sometimes I may seem insensitive. But I think there is no good reason to lie about what I think or what I do or how I live to people who haven't even seen my face.

I possibly use this type of virtual relationship as a form of catharsis, because I know that the worst that can happen is that they block me and disappear forever.

Of course we must be aware that sometimes very real bonds are formed through virtual relationships, but we cannot forget that there are also dangers behind that virtuality, so we must be careful, mainly to avoid ending up hurt.

We must also keep in mind that on the other side there may be a person we only know what they tell us, so everything will be a matter of faith, and it is we who must decide how far to take the relationship.

And although it is a somewhat pessimistic and negative point of view, we must know that we can end up being a form of entertainment for the other person, so it is important not to leave our heart in every relationship, because unfortunately sometimes it can end up broken.

However, the internet is a great tool for meeting people, and I would say that to some extent, there are more possibilities of forming a more sincere friendship than if it were a face-to-face relationship, and who knows if with a bit of luck fate will lead us to meet in person those friendships we are forging online... Distintos tipos de amistad

Creo que en la vida hay lugar para distintos tipos de relaciones, lazos y nexos. Cuando se trata de amistad creo que pasa algo parecido. Tenemos amistades según el momento de nuestras vidas.

Así como existen amistades para toda la vida, también existen amistades que son forjadas durante etapas o momentos de la vida por los que vamos pasando.

No para todos una amistad de la época de la infancia o de la escuela primaria será una relación significativa, lo mismo pasa con las amistades que hacemos durante nuestra época universitaria o de la oficina.

Cada una es importante y valorable durante su momentum y ciertamente nos hace la rutina más agradable, porque no siempre queremos estar solos, y eso es lo que la amistad proporciona: compañía y complicidad, risas y buenos momentos, aunque a veces también drama.

Por eso las amistades hechas en línea o por internet tienen características especiales, como las otras de otro tipo que también tienen las suyas.

En mi caso, cuando formo un vínculo por internet, soy consciente de que puede durar una hora como una década, y que puede ser real como simulada, y otros muchos factores.

Pero lo esencial de mis amistades en línea, es que para mí son una forma de hablar de cualquier tema sin temor a ser juzgada o a que se difunda un rumor que llegue donde no debería.

Tal vez soy muy egoísta y me muestro sin filtros y sin máscaras, siendo sincera al grado de que a veces pueda parecer insensible. Pero es que pienso que no existe ninguna buena razón para mentir sobre lo que pienso o sobre lo que hago o como vivo a personas que ni siquiera me han visto el rostro.

Posiblemente utilizo este tipo de relaciones virtuales como una forma de catarsis, porque se que lo más grave que puede pasar es que me bloqueen y desaparezcan para siempre.

Claro que hay que ser conscientes que a veces se forman vínculos muy reales a través de relaciones virtuales, pero no podemos olvidar que también existen peligros tras esa virtualidad, por lo que debemos ser cuidadosos, principalmente para no terminar lastimados.

También debemos tener en cuenta que del otro lado puede estar una persona de la que solo sabemos lo que nos dice, por lo que todo será una cuestión de fé, y somos nosotros quienes deben decidir hasta dónde llevar la relación.

Y aunque sea un punto de vista algo pesimista y negativo, debemos saber que podemos terminar siendo una forma de entretenimiento para la otra persona, por lo que es importante no dejar el corazón en cada relación, porque lastimosamente a veces puede terminar roto.

No obstante, internet es una herramienta genial para conocer personas, y diría que hasta cierto punto, hay más posibilidades de formar una amistad más sincera que si fuera una relación cara a cara, y quien sabe si con un poco de suerte el destino nos lleve a conocer en persona a esas amistades que vamos forjando en línea...
