Ninja & Tigrilla

These cats are part of a neighbor's cat family who decided to move to the family business on their own.

Ninja, named for his stealthy way of arriving, looking for food, and leaving, is an adult cat, I'd say around a year and a half or two years old, black with white tufts.

He's the only cat my dog Samsa doesn't bark frantically at... His sister Tigrilla was named for her characteristic tabby coat. She was my first foster pet in this place, visiting me briefly, and at first, she didn't want to be petted. She was afraid, just like Ninja.

Today, these two have lost all fear, at least towards us, since people aren't usually kind to animals indoors. Every morning, they're the first customers at the business, and they wait anxiously for us to open the window so they can climb up and wait for their food. Once they're full, they rest peacefully in the sun.

Fortunately, we can feed our own pets and the visiting ones too, although Tigrilla and Ninja are spending almost the whole day with us. Of course, the night is a mystery when it comes to cats!

Ninja, nombrado así por su estilo sigiloso de llegar, buscar comiday salir, es un gato adulto diría que de año y medio o dos, negro con mechones blancos. Es al único gato al que mi perra Samsa no ladraba frenéticamente...

Su hermana la Tigrilla fue bautizada así por tener el característico pelaje atigrado. Ella fue mi primera mascota en préstamo en este lugar, me visitaba fugazmente, y en principio no se quería dejar acariciar. Tenía miedo al igual que Ninja.

Hoy día estos dos han perdido todo el temor, por lo menos hacia nosotros, ya que la gente no suele ser amable con los animales en el interior.

Cada mañana son los primeros clientes del negocio, y esperan ansiosos a que abramos la ventana para subir a ella y esperar su balanceado. Una vez saciados, descanzan plácidamente al sol.

Afortunadamente podemos alimentar a nuestras mascotas propias fijas y también a los visitantes, aunque Tigrilla y Ninja están pasando casi todo el día con nosotros. Por supuesto la noche es un misterio cuando se trata de gatos!
