Update your keys! Beware of @awis

Hello Hive friends, I found some concerning information about a possible security breach regarding keys inherited from the Steem era.

According to this post on B!urt https://blurt.blog/awis/@esecholo/2dppny-awis-account-stealing-crypto-on-blurt there is a thief roaming the Steemit sister blockchains, and although it was detected on the unnameable bastard sister (that's sarcasm due to the hatred some Hivers have for it), it could also happen on Hive, especially if you ever saved your active key in a browser.

It wouldn't hurt for us to change our passwords and keep them off the cloud, and the safest option in theory would be to use only KeyChain or similar tools... I think!

Well, with that parish bulletin out of the way, I'll now share my #PepePowerUpDay. Surely @pepetoken thinks I forgot that today is Wednesday, but that's not the case — here I am on a Friday according to my local time, adding a small amount to my staking.

And although the crypto market is a rollercoaster, I always hope that someday it will rise enough for me to say that #PepeToken made me a millionaire. If Doge could do it, why couldn't #Pepe?

Actualicen sus llaves ! Cuidado con @awis

Hola amigos de Hive, encontré una información preocupante sobre una posible brecha de seguridad respecto a llaves heredadas de la época de Steem.

Según esta publicación de B!urt https://blurt.blog/awis/@esecholo/2dppny-awis-account-stealing-crypto-on-blurt hay un ladrón suelto por las blockchains hijas de Steemit, y aunque se detectó en la innombrable hermana bastarda (es sarcasmo por el odio que algunos hivers le tienen) puede pasar también en Hive, sobretodo si alguna vez guardaron su llave activa en algún navegador.

No estaría de más que cambiemos nuestras claves y lo alejemos de la nube, y lo más seguro en teoría será usar solo KeyChain o similares... Creo!

Bueno, dado el informe parroquial, ahora paso a compartir mi #PepePowerUpDay, seguramente @pepetoken cree que me olvidé que hoy es miércoles pero no es así, y aquí estoy en viernes dado mi hora local, sumando a mi staking una pequeña cantidad.

Y aunque el mercado criptográfico está una montaña rusa, siempre espero que alguna vez suba lo suficiente como para decir que #PepeToken me volvió millonaria. ¿Si Doge pudo, por qué no podría #Pepe ?
