I watched the video before understanding the context and at first I thought Smith was waaaay overreacting. But then in light of the context, his wife's look being related to a disease beyond her control, I think it was justified. If it was a fashion statement, then sure, jokes are fair game, but people rightfully get touchy when a family member is struggling with something real. I think it's one of those situations that proves that there are no rules to human behavior and you can't always predict how person will responds to a situation, especially a stressful one. There are always consequences to our actions, both good and bad, to everything that is said and done. There were consequences to what Rock said, and there could be consequences to what Smith did. Either way, both have to own up to their actions and accept the consequences.
