Replanting Agati Grandiflora Tree From A Polybag to The Garden

Sesbania Grandiflora is the biological name of the tree. It is a soft wood tree. It has many varieties. The flowers are pink or white. It is also called Agati Grandiflora. In Indonesia it is called Turi.
I have been seeding the tree in a polybag. It is the time to plant the tree in the garden where it can grow bigger. I decided to plant the tree on a side of a drainage system beside my house.
I asked my 9-year old son to plant the tree. I used a small hoe to dig the soil. I put the tree in and my son berried the root with the soil.
In September, it is going to be the rainy season in Indonesia, so I should not water the tree too much. I just wait for the rain to make the soil wet.
Agati or Turi is good to be planted under full sunlight. It is not a hardwood, so it will grow fast after it makes an adaptation to the new soil.
There are some benefits of Agati flowers, tree, fruits and other parts of the tree. One of my favorites is the flower. It can be a good vegetable. You can eat it after you steam it, or you can sauté the flowers.

My boy was eating ice-mambo while he was planting the tree. I taught him to like plants by doing activities in the garden. I hope he will love green nature in the future.

Turi has a maximum height around 5–12 meters. Life is not too long. After 2 metters high, the tree usually bears flowers. Then the flowers will become small grains in long shells.

	We can seed the grain to plant the new trees.
