GODS UNCHAINED - WEEKEND EVENT REPORT - UPDATE ON LIGHT DECK

Well as many of you know from my previous posts, I am indeed on vacation/collecting content for upcoming posts and my time playing my usual games is kinda limited but I did manage to play my games for the previous event and even some extra. Anyway, in today's post, I am going to update you on my progress in the weekend event and I am going to share some thoughts about the cards I want to buy in order to upgrade my current deck. Also, I will show you the packs I opened from the rewards of the previous weekend's event and from leveling up. As always I will share a couple of battles with you from my grinding and we are going to examine what happened and highlight the decisive moments in each video. So kick back and enjoy!

As you can see, I got 12 wins out of 18 which translates to a 66.67% win rate. Obviously, this run is a decent one but I am not satisfied with this result because this run happened at Solar Gold. I played in Gold because at my last games on Friday I managed to do some losses back to back and de-rank a couple of minutes before the event starts. So as you can see at Gold, of course, I managed to perform better than Diamond but still, I found some great players there and some really pricey decks. I would like to say that I played against decks that cost $478.66! I mean this Light deck that I run has a total cost of $23.

Deck list

As I said the previous week this deck is pretty solid and to prove that the win rate of the deck is still 50%. I had a lot of fun playing this deck and that is always important for me. As always the secret behind any Aggro/Midrange/Buff deck is at keeping control over the board and it's definitely going to be challenging against some classes. I got into a lot of trouble against Magic, Deception, and some Nature decks apparently.

New cards I want to add

This is the second card that I am thinking on purchasing because I saw it in a couple of Light decks and I believe that could fit great on my deck too. The only thing that troubles me is the fact that it costs 5 Mana and it could make my deck more midrange. Now the price here is not a problem because it costs around 15 GODS but I am not completely sure that is going to make my deck much better. I would like to hear your opinion about this card too.

Unpacking Rewards

These are the rewards that I opened and I was very excited this time with the cards I got. Keep in mind that the majority of the packs I opened were regular rare packs and some epic packs. No legendaries this time but we acquire a couple of Epics and some rare cards that I didn't have in my collection. Also, I opened a pack with 6 cards (?), has that anyone happened to anyone else? Tbh I don't remember if that ever happened again to me. Anyway, I'm always happy that my collection grows bigger each week and that is one of the reasons that I still play GU.

The first thing I would like to say is a big thank you for all of your support because the number of views on youtube videos is increasing steadily. One of the previous YT videos has reached 193 views and the other reached 82 views . To be honest it's not that I want publicity on youtube because I'm full into Hive but it's really good to know that someone views your work!
