Hello world and fellow Hivers

My week is going pretty great because I have so many projects on the platform and I have to remain faithful to all the previous content that I want to keep uploading, in combination with the morning job I have so little time for genuine relaxation time. I believe that I will find the perfect balance between them and I will get back to a routine but until then I wanted to share my run on the previous Weekend's Event. As always we are going to review the rewards we got from the previous weekend's event and from leveling up. We are going to review a battle from the grind and I will share some thoughts with you about the performance of this deck and if some changes are needed.

Thoughts about the results

As you can see from the pic above I managed to perform 6 wins out of 18, which is translate to a pretty bad run IMO (win rate: 33.33%). That leads me to the fact that the changes on the deck didn't help at all. On the other hand at this event, I was playing in the Diamond League and in the previous event, I was competing in Gold. That's the only reason that I am not thinking completely dumb this deck but I will try to make some adjustments until I find the perfect formation.

So the deck is pretty similar to the previous forms but I made some changes such as adding the card Canonize twice and removing one Blind Martyr and one Thaeric Extortionist. We are going to review some of the changes I want to do in the next section.

New cards I want to add

This is the first card that I would like to have in my formation because it has great value and the effect it has does an excellent job. I would like to have cards more cards that could make a difference and that could deal a lot of damage or could potentially make value trades. So for sure, I would like to add it to my formation but I have to think about it carefully because the value at this moment in the market is at 24.611 GODS, and that's pretty expensive tbh.

The second one that I believe could be the difference between the current state of my deck and a far better one is the legendary card Thestor, Grieving General. This card has the Echo ability and also a very interesting effect that can do in each turn. I believe that is a really powerful card that can be a difference in some tough situations that I will encounter in my next event. Also, I really like the stats and the low cost because it fits perfectly with my other synergy cards.

Wish List

As you probably already understand from the title in this new category I am going to showcase each week a card that I wish I could afford to buy for my deck just for fun and also to give some ideas to the players that have the ability to buy them. Martyr of Whiteplain is one of the best cards that I could add to this deck because it gives a lot of versatility and that could give another whole meaning to my deck. I believe that if someone is lucky enough to have this card you should definitely use it or if you can afford to buy it you should do it.

Well I can't say something about these rewards because I was blessed enough to get some very useful cards and a lot of Epics. Let's summarize all of that, so, first of all, I got one Leg card; Silkspite that I didn't know until now but it seems pretty decent. Also, I got 11 Epic cards and I was cheering the time I opened them. There is nothing too good but an epic is an epic and it feels great. Anyway, I'm always happy that my collection grows bigger each week and that is one of the reasons that I still play GU.

Watch the Action!

The first thing I would like to say is a big thank you for all of your support because the number of views on youtube videos is increasing steadily. One of the previous YT videos has reached 250 views and the other reached 37 views. To be honest it's not that I want publicity on youtube because I'm full into Hive but it's really good to know that someone views your work!

Well it was a really intense battle that lasted 10 minutes, and that was the reason I chose to show it today again. So I gained control over the board from the very start and I did manage to maintain it and even make it stronger throughout the early turns. It was a great battle and I would not like to spoil much for you just relax and enjoy the trades.

Rough weekend. Happens sometimes so not to worry!

One thing that struck me: you have so many spells and relics that you are actually a bit light on creatures (IMO). Did you find yourself with a hand of buffs and no creatures to play them on? If so, maybe drop ~2 buff spells.

Yea. I also think you should focus on saving up for Thestor. People tell me it makes a big difference. Maybe selling that Silkspite will help you get there faster.

I just started to test Light deck yesterday, it really seems a strong deck considering it can gain control of an opponent's cards.
