SPLINTERLANDS - HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE LADDER - INSPIRE FORMATION

Another Sunday is here and I'm feeling quite tired because this weekend had a lot of work and fun combined and those 2 things at some point and further could overwhelm you. I don't complain about anything but a lot of projects that I wanted to release them during the previous days were unfortunately delayed. So I can't say for sure the date that I am going to upload them but I am planning to do it at some point in the near future. Enough with that, today we are going to review one battle from my daily grind and I wanted to share with you again a formation that could win you a couple of games. As always the initiative from this series of posts is the Social Media Challenge from @splinterlands.

If you are familiar with the game please skip the next part, if you are new to Splinterlands, I will make a summary for you! I will try to explain what is this crypto game with a few words!
So if anyone is new here and doesn't know what the game is about let me explain it to you. Splinterlands is a play to earn a game in the NFT world. The game operates in the Hive blockchain and it is a trading game genre! To put it simply it's a card game that whenever you win you earn SPS and RP, the more you play and you are going up the ladder, the more rewards you get in quantity both for SPS & RP but you even get better rewards from the chests you are going to open. If you want to join and take a taste of the game, you can do that for free but if you want to start earning SPS and grind for NFT cards and earn more rewards you must buy the Summoner's Spellbook. I totally recommend starting your journey today and to help you with that we are going to review today one battle for my daily ranked games!

The Battle

Ruleset

• Explosive Weaponry: All monsters have the Blast ability.

• Noxious Fumes: All monsters start the battle Poisoned

• Also, we've got unlimited Mana Cap and we can play all classes except Life.

Summoner Selection

Daria DragonScale is the summoner that we are going to select for this battle and the main reason is that I want to create the ultimate Melee Attack formation. I am aware that the ruleset doesn't help so much because I had to place some monsters in some weird positions but I will create a part 2 with the whole "combo". The blast ability is going to be pretty much OP with the formation we are going to create and you will find out soon the reason I chose to play this formation here.

Teams' Formation

In the first position, I placed Goblin Mech, which is going to be my main tank for this battle. I've said plenty of things about this card in the past but I will recap for those that haven't seen my posts before. The main reason I like this card is the stats it has, and the first one is the high HP and armor but also the high attack and Speed. Also, the Piercing ability is pretty useful in this formation because as you would see in the video late it's going to deal a lot of damage.

Demented Shark is the second card I placed on the battlefield and I said earlier that the reason I chose this card was the ability to Inspire. I want to buff as much as possible the Melee cards of my position and one way to achieve that is obviously with this card. Also, the stats of the card is pretty awesome and quite useful for this formation.

The third card in my position is the River Hellondale and this is the MVP of my formation as I will explain in a bit. The major reason that I played this card is the ability to Inspire as well and also the Resurrect ability is very important because it can kinda counter the Neoxian Fumes

The fourth card in the position is the Sand Worm and this is one of my favorite cards because of his high attack damage and sneak ability. I use it quite often in my formations when I try to attack my opponent's backline formation. It is highly important the contribution of this card in this battle.

The fifth card that I used in this battle was Deeplurker and the major reason that I chose it was the high attack damage it has and the ability to Opportunity. This ability was pretty useful in this battle because it can spread a lot of damage inside the formation of my opponent thanks to the blast.

This is the last card of my formation and I chose it to place it here because it's my insurance that I am going to win this battle. With my last sentence, I mean that this card with the ability to Heal can completely defuse the Poison rule. So I placed it in the last place with the purpose to outlive the rest monsters on the battlefield.
