Hello everyone! Last time I opened a Stakehouse Den Ladyluck pack. In addition to the pack, I also purchased legendary and gold flux. These flux works the same way as potions in #splinterlands. They increase your chances of getting legendary cards, gold and black foils. For Arcade Colony games such as Moon Karts, Hyperrail Blaster and Stakehouse Den, flux is the item needed.

I didn’t include how I purchased Flux in my previous post, so I’m sharing the process now in this follow-up post.

Buying Flux

Flux are available in the shop area. If you will notice, all Arcade Colony NFTs are sold here. Centauri Packs for Moon Karts, Lady Luck Packs for Stake House Den, Flux and soon to be announced Enable All. In today's post, let's focus on flux.

The items we will buy are legendary and gold flux. They are as described, they double the chances of pulling a legendary and gold foils. For us card collectors, we know how valuable these are compared to common and regular foil cards.

Buying Legendary Flux

Legendary Flux can be bought for Credits or SCRIPT. Each Legendary Flux cost 80 Credits or 0.08 SCRIPT. Each pack contains five cards so we need to buy five flux for each pack. In this case, we will spend 0.4 SCRIPT tokens for five Legendary Flux.

Buying Gold Flux

The same is true for Gold Flux. It costs a bit more than Legendary Flux at 100 Credits or 0.10 SCRIPT for one flux. Here we will spend 0.50 SCRIPT tokens for five Gold Flux.

Using the Flux

After you have acquired the flux make sure to tick "Use Flux" when opening packs so that you can use them.

Final Thoughts

In my opinion, Flux is well worth the cost. The odds of pulling valuable Legendary and Gold Foil cards far outweigh the relatively low price. It's similar to Midnight Potions in Splinterlands, essential when opening packs, especially since ultra-rare Black Foil cards are highly coveted.
