Arcade Colony Moon Karts: Astro Kart and LunocityX Deep Dive
Hello Moon Kart Racers! I wrote a post about karts some time ago. There are several karts to choose from with different rarities. The common and basic kart is called the Astro Kart while the rare kart is the LunocityX. Let's take a look at them in detail.
Astro Kart
The Astro Kart is the cheapest kart available. Since it's a common kart, it's has modest stats. At level one, it has a speed of 112.5, handling at 45.25, health at 39 and acceleration at 39. It has one tech slot available, one power up slot and four trunk slots.
Cards Required to Upgrade
The Astro Kart is the cheapest kart but it requires a lot of cards to maximize its level. A total of four hundred cards to be exact. Assuming each copy costs thirty cents, a max level regular foil card will cost $120. That's quite a hefty price if you ask me. At max level, it can compete with other rarities which are not maxed in terms of speed. At max level it has a speed of 148.5, handling at 81.25, health at 75 and acceleration at 75. It can now equip four tech cards and three power up cards. It's trunk will be able to hold eight items having eight trunk slots.
LunocityX
The LunocityX is a rare kart. It's a considerable upgrade in terms of price at $1.30 per BCX. At level one, it has a speed of 113.3, handling at 55.25, health at 49 and acceleration at 55.25 It has two tech slots available, two power up slots and six trunk slots. It's speed is not far from the Astro Kart but other stats are considerably better. Also, having more slots is a big advantage over the common kart.
Cards Required to Upgrade
The LunocityX is a lot more costly than the Astro Kart but it requires less cards to upgrade. To fully maximize the LunocityX, one hundred fifty cards are needed. Assuming each copy costs $1.30, a max level regular foil card will cost $195. At max level it has a speed of 151.8, handling at 93.75, health at 87.5 and acceleration at 93.75. It can now equip four tech cards and four power up cards. It's trunk will be able to hold ten items having ten trunk slots.
Final Thoughts
The Astro Kart and LunocityX are the cheaper alternatives in Moon Karts. It's tempting to buy the Astro Kart at only 30 cents but you have to remember that it needs more copies to be competitive and even then, it will not be at par with the other rarities. The LunocityX offers a better alternative having considerable improvement in stats in handling, health and acceleration as well as additional stats. You will have to do the math though and decide how much you will invest compared to the kart's performance.
