Arcade Colony Moon Karts: Build a Cheap Racing Set Up for $1.20

Today, let's build a mostly legendary racing set up. We cannot build a full legendary set up because they are not available in the market. Remember that we only consider NFTs that are sold in the in game market. These are the ones available at the time of writing. Since these are legendary cards, they are the most expensive NFTs in the market and the most expensive racing set up we will build.

Kart: GF Arachno Eclipse $200

This is the most expensive kart in the market today and rightly so. It's a gold foil legendary kart, Arachno Eclipse. There are only two legendary karts in the market, a regular foil and gold foil Arachno Eclipse. The gold foil is more cost effective since it's only $50 more expensive than the regular foil and it's already level two.

Anyway, this kart boasts of top notch stats with speed of 141, acceleration of 94.5, handling and health of 82. With this kart, you can compete with the best set ups out there.

Driver: Surge $15

Surge is the cheapest legendary driver at $15. The highest stats he provides is health at 38.4. If you want to outlast other racers in battle and bumps then Surge can provide you the sustainability you desire. Surge also boosts your kart with speed of 27.7, acceleration of 23.4 and handling of 17.6.

As I mentioned before, the choice of driver depends on your racing style. If you want a driver who will give you with more balanced stats then you can probably choose Luna.

Tech Cards: $103.45

Tech Cards provide boosts to a karts stats like speed, acceleration, health and handling. There are a maximum of three tech cards that you can equip on your kart.

Engine Upgrade $80	Armor Plating $21	Tire Upgrade $2.45

Engine upgrade costs $80 in the market and provides an increase in speed of 64.5 and acceleration of 4.4. Armor Plating will increase health by 72 and gives a boost in acceleration of 4.8 for $21. Tire Upgrade is an epic card because there are no legendary cards available. It will increase speed by 13.5, acceleration of 3.3 while giving a boost in handling of 48.8 for $2.45. The total cost of tech cards is $103.45.

Accessories $17.85

Similar to tech cards, accessories also provide additional stats to a kart's speed, health, acceleration and handling. There are also a maximum of three accessories that a kart can equip.

Corner Demon $2.50	Easy Breeze $15.00	Steady Spin $0.35

There are no legendary accessories in the market so I picked epic and rare cards instead.

Corner Demon costs $2.50 in the market helps with the kart's stability increasing handling by 2.3. Easy Breeze which costs $15 boosts the kart's speed by 9.2 while Steady Spin increases the kart's acceleration for $0.35 for a total cost of $17.85.

Power Ups

Power Ups are weapons and defense that you can equip on your kart to disable other racer's karts. One power up can defend against such attacks for a limited time. I did not include Power Ups in my build but you can do so if you so choose. Power Ups are all common cards but costs a lot. A kart can equip a maximum of five power ups. Power up costs range from $3 to $5.

Overall Kart Stats and Cost $336.30

This set up is the most expensive we have done so far at $336 total cost. It will have speed of 256, health of 192, handling of 151 and acceleration of 136. This set up is by far has the best stats among the ones we previously built. If you have the budget and willing to invest in this set up then you can buy these cards from the market while they last. Most of these only have one copy available which is probably the reason for their high cost. You can also try your luck by buying packs from hive-engine.
