Latest Guild Brawl Ranking and Selected Battles

Hello Splinterlands summoners and welcome to my blog. Our guild finished another recent brawl. In today's post, I will share our performance the brawl, my own contribution and featured battles.
Our Guild Rank and My Personal Performance
Probably one of our worst finishes as far as I can remember. We were at the bottom of the standings only above the last placer, Goblintown guild. We won sixty three battles and lost by the same number. We still took home seventy crowns price that we can use to upgrade our guild buildings.

My personal contribution was not great either. I only won five battles out of nine, contributing fifteen points to our brawl. Each of us who joined the brawl earned 3.6k merits and 34 SPS. It was not a bad haul but certainly could be better.

Featured Battle
The battle has high mana and had the Global Warming and Equalizer rulesets to consider. There are only two splinters available, Life and Dragon so I made the most of it and formed a team. I chose Dragon and had Kavor Skarn for my archon. He doesn't grant abilities except for his Bloodline Dominion buff to all Drakoshans. The rest of the team were composed of the following units.

Taking the tank position was Saltwraith Bulkhead. He's a good tank with lots of offense and defense. He deals four melee damage and has four speed. He also has six armor and ten health. He lacks decent abilities though and even has the Weary debilitation.
In second position is my regular whenever I choose Dragon, the Night Reaper. It deals three magic damage and has four speed. It has an armor and ten health that makes it great to be an off tank. It has both Flying and Wingbreak abilities making it a perfect unit in Earthquake rulesets.
In third position was my gladiator card, Larissa Kerato. She's an offensive legendary card but I don't choose her often because of her low health stats but this battle had the Equalizer ruleset so I took the chance to use her. She deals two magic attack and has the Double Strike ability making her a highly offensive damage dealer in the team.
In fourth was the Dragon Egg Forager. It's a Drakoshan so it benefits from the buff given by the archon. It deals two melee damage and has four speed. It has the Opportunity and Scavenger abilities making it a great unit in Noxious Fumes or Global Warming rulesets where every unit death adds to its health.
In fifth was Chaos Battlemage. She deals three ranged damage and has four speed. She has Piercing ability on offense and Rebirth ability that enables her to resurrect once per battle.
In last position is another regular card I use whenever I choose the Dragon splinter. Syrenth deals four ranged damage and has two speed. She has Taunt ability which is a regular strategy of mine to divide enemy attacks. She also has Dodge but her low speed stats does not help in this ability.
The enemy seems to have made a mistake in forming his team. This is a textbook example of "how not to form a team in Splinterlands". He was lacking a tank and only had five units in this battle. He had a ranged unit in first position followed by a support unit. Then the rest of his team were composed of magic damage dealers. It was not a well formed team and he expectedly lost.
