My Guild Brawl Update
Hello Splinterlands warriors and welcome back to my blog!
Our guild has just concluded another brawl. We dropped to fifth place finish this week from fourth last week. It was a close battle though and either guild could have taken third to fifth places so it was not that bad. I'm not too proud of my performance in this brawl as I had the worst score in a long while.
Guild Rank and Personal Performance
We fell one rank to fifth place compared to our fourth place finish last week. A few more wins and we could have been in third or fourth place but even my own performance was bad in this brawl.
My worst performance in a long while. I scored less than fifty per cent, winning only three battles out of eight. I usually win six or more battles but this time was really bad performance. We still earned 5.4k merits and 66 SPS.
Featured Battle
This was one of the battles that I lost. The enemy had a legendary archon and higher level units. Although his gladiator card was only a common, it's still very strong at level five. The enemy team also had a couple of strong support units. One had a Repair ability and another had the Strengthen ability to increase his team's health. Further, he had a unit that decreased my own team's health with Weaken ability.
I thought that I had a good chance to win with Shapeshift Happens ruleset. This meant that all my units will have the Execute ability granted by the Earth archon. I also had the advantage with the gladiator since I had a level two Fina Voxom. However, these were not enough to win as my opponent had the higher level cards and better synergy.
