Hello Splinterlands summoners and welcome back to my blog!

Modern season has just concluded. I had a good season finishing in Diamond III League and landing in rank 32 of the Gold League. As a result, I earned a bonus of 25k Glints! I didn't play much in the Frontier this season since I have already maxed out my cards in there.

By the end of the season, I have close to 150k glints to spend. I bought some alchemy potions and two legendary chests.

Legendary Cards Purchase

Like the previous season I will spend my glints to buy two legendary reward chests. I'm building my legendary line up and the legendary reward chest is the easiest way to get them. Unfortunately, they are very expensive at 70k glints each so I can only afford three. First, I bought alchemy potions to increase my chances of getting gold foils. I appreciate the 5% discount I got from our guild building.

I got another Chuma Marandu and Kervik. Both legendary cards have the Sneak ability. After this purchase, Kervik goes to level two.

Kervik

Kervik is a four mana, Water unit. At level two, he deals four melee damage, has four health and two speed. He has the Sneak ability to harass the enemy's back line while having the Camouflage ability to hide his presence. Costing only four mana, he is great in low mana battles. His four melee damage will also come in handy to decimate the enemy's back rank. He's a great addition to the Water team.

Chuma Marandu

Chuma Marandu also deal four melee damage and has the Sneak ability. He has some similarities with Kervik but that's where it ends. He costs more at eight mana but has more defense and speed stats. Instead of Camouflage, he has a wide range enemy debuff ability, Demoralize that decrease the enemy's melee attack. In addition, he is a dragon splinter which means he can be used together with other splinters.

Those are the two legendary cards that empowered my deck. I can't wait for the next season to gather more glints!
