Less than a week remain until the release of #ConclaveArcana and we can see players preparing for it. The prices of DEC and SPS pumped weeks leading to the release of the new set. Excitement is brought by the new cards, especially the Black Foils which comes already at maxed level. Similar to previous release of card sets, there are promo cards that a lot will be going after.

Excited About The Promo Cards

The new promo cards can be acquired by participating in the presale. They are exceptionally powerful cards that are only available through participating in the presale so these cards are very exclusive.

Arcane Skinwalker

Arcane Skinwalker is of the fiend race. It's a rare, neutral card. At maxed level, it deals 3 magic damage, has four armor, 6 health and 3 speed. As for abilities, it has three we are already familiar with: Inspire, Camouflage and Silence. It also has a new ability called Shapeshift. Players can receive one BCX for every 40,000 DEC or Credits spent.

Gramel the Hunger

Gramel the Hunger looks very powerful. It's a legendary neutral card also of the fiend race like Arcane Skinwalker. What makes him so strong is it's the first card with all three attack types of magic, melee and ranged! It has an armor, 7 health and 3 speed. On the abilities side, it has Camouflage, Charge and Scattershot. It also has two new abilities Shapeshift and Relentless Strike. Players can receive one BCX for every 400,000 DEC or Credits spent.

Lore and Card Designs

The card designs are already revolutionary in Splinterlands being the first set to have animated Arcane versions. On the lore side, I would like to see a book or graphic novels about Splinterlands. @bravetofu showed how a Splinterlands comic book can tell a good Splinterlands story. How about a graphic designer and writer in the Splinterlands team? I would like to see Splinterlands lore told in comic books where we can combine our appreciation of the card designs with the back story of each character.

A New Era for Splinterlands

I've said this before that the new set feels like a new game. The revolutionary card designs, the new archons and abilities will change the meta. New strategies will be plotted to tie in with the new card abilities and archon buffs. On the game economy, demand for DEC and SPS is rising in anticipation for the release. Conclave Arcana is ushering a new era with fresh gameplay experiences. It's also revitalizing the game economy enhancing both player engagement and the game's sustainability.
