Hello Splinterlands Summoners and welcome to another edition of Splinterlands Social Media Challenge! Our guild finished another brawl. Today, I'll be sharing how our guild performed in our brawl, my personal contribution, gladius case purchase and favorite battles.

Guild Brawl

Our guild ranked sixth scoring 267 points from 89 wins and 79 losses. We earned 102 crowns that we will use to upgrade our guild buildings.

My personal performance was not bad. I scored five wins out of eight battles for fifteen points. Each of us was rewarded with sufficient rewards of 5,300 Merits and 75 SPS. I'm happy with the rewards we earned but there are still a lot of room for improvement.

The total merits I accumulated was over 6,000. I used it to buy three Gladius cases. Each case contains five cards with one guaranteed rare or higher. This means that I will have fifteen new cards to add to my collection.

These are the fifteen new cards that I got. There were no epic cards nor legendary in today's pull. I also didn't get enough to upgrade any of the cards I already have. There were a lot of rare cards in this batch though so it's not all that bad.

Featured Battles

Battle 1 - Unprotected, Explosive Weaponry Rulesets

This battle has the Unprotected and Explosive Weaponry rulesets. I picked cards that deals high damage like Drybone Barbarian and Marisol Contuna. I also divided my opponent's attack by having a unit with Taunt ability placed in the sixth position. Beside my tank and Taunt units are high health units to help absorb the blast damage. My opponent picked the Water splinter. While it is the faster team, my team dealt a lot more damage to his frontline and second position units while my opponent's attack was divided between my tank and sixth position unit. This strategy helped me eliminate my opponent's units faster and led to my win.

Battle 2 - Fina Dominates

Fina Voxom is one of my favorite Gladiator cards. Needing only five mana, she can be very destructive because of her damage potential and abilities. In this battle, Fina displays how she can dominate the opponent as she eliminates enemy targets in one hit. Each time she eliminates an opponent her Bloodlust skill triggers making her more powerful.

Final Thoughts

Guild brawls is a great way to earn extra rewards and cards. The SPS rewards I earn from brawls add up to my seasonal earnings. Any additional SPS earnings is important especially now that SPS price is pumping. If you have not done so yet, make sure to join a guild and participate in brawls.
