Hello Splinerlands warriors and welcome back to my blog!

I just unlocked Division 7 in Silver. I'm finding the competition quite challenging making the climb harder. This is the start of the new bracket system and there are probably a lot of strong players in my bracket so the prudent choice would probably be to let them climb first and grind later. My grind continues anyway and I just broke in division seven and playing to get in division six. It's a difficult climb and the rewards are sparse. Even the SPS rewards are lost in Modern battles and only glints are won.

Anyway, here's are the rewards I received for reaching division seven. There are cards, potions and 2,000 glints.

Featured Battle

This battle was against fellow Hive Grover @captainquack22. I saw that he was frequently using Water with the magic archon so I tried to counter with the Earth archon who debuffs magic attacks. I also put Quilliun Legionary at tank who has the Void ability to further decrease magic attacks received. Then I put five elves in the team to get the benefit of the Execute ability. I also had units with Opportunity and Sneak abilities to harass the enemy back line and take out their magic damage dealers.

As expected, the captainquack22 had the Water team and his main damage dealers were magic units. He had a couple of units to boost health with their Strengthen ability. I use a similar strategy with the Earth team in low mana battles.

My strategy worked since his magic damage was reduced while my own units killed the enemy back line. My team took the victory in a few rounds.
