Unfortunately, I had no time to write this week, so I have to publish a shorter version of my review.

Let's see something about the "mad" shooter: the Portal Spinner!

character.png

1 ) Mana cost: 5 Fair Mana cost considering the stats.

2 ) Ranged Attack: 2 Nice Ranged Attack considering the possible General Sloan's Summoner boost.

3 ) Speed: 2 Normal stat, nothing exceptional.

4 ) Expansion: Chaos Legion. I highlighted that because the Expansion of a card determines if the Monster can be played in Modern and Wild Format, or only in Modern Format.
This card can be played in both Formats because it is from the most recent expansion.

5 ) Armor: 1 Useful stat, it allows the Portal Spinner to resist an extra Physical attack.

6 ) Health 3 Good stat, it can resist a low Physical Attack.

7 ) Element: Light It means that it can be used only with Light and Dragon Summoners.

8 )Ability: Scattershot "This monster's attacks hit a random enemy target" it can be a two-edged sword because the Attack will be unpredictable.

Favorable Rules of Combat:

I selected Rules where the Ranged (or random) Attacks are important.

Let's see the battle:

The strategy was based on two simple things:

1 ) My Opponent would have used a Magic Deck.

2 ) The Aim True rule of combat would have allowed me to use the Stitch Leech to clean my Opponent's second lines.

Did it work? Let's see!

So I placed in the first position a Tank able to resist Magic Attacks:

High Mana cost is justified by a High Armor stat and by a useful Ability.

Then, in the second spot I placed a "Damage Dealer" able to increase my Monsters' Health too:

Another high Mana cost card, but important for my strategy.

Then I placed the "cleaner":

Thanks to the "Aim True" Rule of Combat I wasn't worried about eventual misses due to its low-speed stat.

And, in the last position, I placed the "mad" shooter:

Its ability is positive and negative at the same time cause it is unpredictable and it could hit a useless Opponent's Monster or it could kill an important Opponent's Monster.

The Portal Spinner is mad.

Let's see the battle:

As expected my Opponent chose a Magic Deck, unfortunately before hitting its weaker Monsters I had to get rid of its Monster with the "Taunt" ability.

Thanks to the "Aim True" Rule of Combat my Monsters never missed a hit and I've been able to defeat all my Opponent's Monsters.

Juicy victory.

Final Considerations: the Portal Spinner is a Monster with nice stats but its ability is a real gamble, if you love the risk, it is your Monster.

Leveling up it becomes more powerful but still unpredictable.
