Magalli's "SHARE YOUR BATTLE Weekly Challenge! TENYII STRIKER!"

I'm back from my vacation and I'm ready to write this new "Weekly Battle Challenge"!

This week we will talk about the Tenyii Striker!

1 ) Mana cost: 5 Considering all its stats and the ability, it is a pretty low cost.

2 ) Melee Attack: 2 Nice base Melee Attack stat, it is important to consider that it can be easily boosted by Tarsa (the Chaos Legion Fire Summoner).

3 ) Speed 2 Not a super high stat, luckily leveling up the Tenyii Striker, it gets better.

4 ) Expansion: Chaos Legion. I highlighted that because the Expansion of a card determines if the Monster can be played in Modern and Wild Format, or only in Modern Format.
This card can be played in both Formats because it is from the most recent expansion.

5 ) Health: 6 Really high stat, it makes the Tenyii Striker pretty resistant and able to tank some hits.

6 ) Element: Fire means it can be used only with Fire and Dragon Summoners.

7 ) Ability: Sneak, is a super useful ability that allows the Tenyii Striker to target the last monster in the enemy's team, weakening the Opponent's second lines, attacking from our second lines while it is protected by a proper Tank.

Please note: the Tenyii Striker has no Armor.

Now, let's see the favorable Rule Sets for the Tenyii Striker:

Some of the Rule Sets are obvious, like the "Up Close and Personal", but I selected some Rules like "Holy Protection" and "Noxious Fumes" respectively thanks to the Tenyii Striker's ability (that if it is used with another Monster with the Sneak ability can quickly ignore the Divine Shield) and thanks to its high Health stat (that allows it to resist enough turns to deal nice damages).

The introduction to this amazing card is over, let's see how it works in battle:

Rules Of Combat: Positive As I highlighted, the "Up Close and Personal" is perfect for the Tenyii Striker, it can "hide" behind a Tank, being able to hit the Opponent's Monsters.

Mana Cap: Positive A low mana cap means that the Opponent will have no "space" to counter my Melee Attackers.

Active Elements: Positive There's no Dragon, so no risk to fighting a high Armored Monster with the "Thorns" ability like Djinn Chwala.

Summoner: Tarsa is the perfect Summoner to make the Tenyii Striker (and all the Melee Attack Monsters) shine, it gives an important +1 bonus in Melee Attack and Health, really nice.

The Strategy: The strategy I chose was a bit risky, I preferred to use a resistant tank like the Antoid Platoon sacrificing Mana and being able to use only the Scorch Fiend (thanks to its 0 Mana Cost) to protect my Tenyii Striker from eventual Monsters with the Sneak or Opportunity ability.

An Antoid Platoon in my idea could be more important than using more Monsters that attack the enemy's second lines because, with low mana and only Melee Attackers available, the resistance was more important than dealing a lot of damages.

So, as I said, in the first position I placed a resilient Tank:

The Shield ability allows it to tank a lot of damage, protecting my second lines.

After the Antoid Platoon I placed our character of the week:

Really an amazing card.

And finally having 0 mana left, I took advantage of the Fiend's Mana Cost, using it as bait to protect my "important" cards:

It is essential to have 0 Mana Cost cards for Low Mana Cap Battles.

Let's see the battle:

My Opponent chose Fire as well, preferring two Monsters with the Sneak ability and a Weaker Tank.

Luckily the Antoid Platoon has been able to eliminate the Opponent's Tank while the Tenyii Striker, covered by the Scorch Fiend, killed one of the Opponent's Monsters with the Sneak Ability.

2 vs 1 could have ended only in one way.

Please note: having a level 2 Summoner allowed me to use a Level 2 Tenyii Striker, and thanks to its superior Level and Speed, it survived.

Final Considerations: The Tenyii Striker is a must-have card, really powerful, one of the best rare cards of the Chaos Legion Expansion, that performs really well at low levels.

Leveling up it becomes a tremendous card, considering the new Fire Summoner that will be available with the next airdrop as well...the Tenyii Striker will definitely become one of the most important cards of the Chaos Legion Expansion.
