A man of over 70yrs taught me a new ideology today.
Have you ever learn new things from what you claimed to had known? If yes, do you admit that you didn't know about the idea earlier? As for me, blockchain must hear mine.
It happened today as I woke up and carried out a good number of house chores. Later, I visited a grain grounder. (That's the way I have chosen to present its name since I don't know if such skill have a special name).
The grounder is an aged man of over 70 years. Yet, he is vibrant and ready to stand for hours grinding.

Reaching his office which is located inside a compound which is now his former compound. I saw him grinding corn for a customer. She will make pap or akamu with it.

Look inside the engine, did you see a plastic inside the engine hole? Do you know it's work? Let me tell you. According to the man, he said that putting the plastic inside the engine hole helps in bridging all the corn from entering inside the machine same time.

So as a fact, I kept on watching and observing the whole process and I found out it is true. Do you know that at an extent, he went to toilet to defecate and he felt relaxed trusting and knowing fully well that the plastic container placed inside the engine will continue doing it's work. And for sure, it did its work perfectly.

In other to make sure the plastic container maintained its work, he opened a hole in the body of the container and then crossed a rope inside the container. Next, he tied the rope to the engine body in both sides. Thats crafty right?

He grounded more than 2 buckets of yellow corn flour for the woman.

......................................................................................................................................................
At the end, he started grounding mine. I went there to grind local Semovita. This was the look before grounding.

Semo flour is gotten from cassava. You can make it by yourself. Let me educate you on the preparation process.
- 1 Harvest cassava and peel off it's skin or coated film.
- 2 wash and slice into small particles especially now that we are into wet season for easier drying.
- 3 Make sure it is properly dried
- 4 Remove from sun and put into a bag.
- 5 grind into flour and your food is ready

While grounding mine, he removed the container. So I demanded to know why. He told me that for the fact that what he is grinding is bigger in shape than the corn, it won't penetrate easily inside the engine.

I learnt a new ideology from the old man. It is good to apply wisdom on our daily life and business. To make sure the texture is smooth, he sieved it while grinding during the finishing touches.

After grounding, I poured it inside a bag and was about leaving with it when I took this shot. My cassava flour or semo 👇is ready!!!
