Beer Saturday week - 395: Let's visit champion lager beer

Champion is a mild beer that have been in existence since years ago precisely since 1879. I could remember when I did promotion for them when they were running some promo in the year 2014 which is approximately 10/11 years ago. That time, the promo was, buy 2 get one free and people was rushing the beer. So one day, I decided to have a taste of it. I took one bottle and the taste was so mild and I felt no dizzy. Ever since then, I developed a kind of likeness for it though it's not always easy to find it in my vicinity because it's company or producer is far away from us. Surprisingly today, I was opportune to have a taste of it once again after 10/11 years. Now let me tell you all my observations.

The beer informations

The name of the beer am talking about is Champion lager beer. It is brewed and bottled by Champion breweries PLC located in Uyo akwa-ibom state Nigeria.

There are 5 remarkable ingredients used in formulating this beer and they are:
water, sorghum,malted barley, sucrose and hops. These 5 ingredients have unique health benefits for human health and that is why it's nutritional value is also high as it is rich in carbohydrate 3.0g protein 0.13g, energy and fat.

The alcohol percentage is 5% and that's why it is mild that if you should take just one bottle, you won't feel the power of alcohol in your system.

It has a light golden color that is adorable and charming that you can find it very difficult to withstand its seduction while viewing it in a cup especially this type of cup.

Are you salivating already? please hold your throat hahahaha. Looking at the wine, you will see that it is properly filtered in a way one can easy feel enticed to have a taste of it.

More to that, it has a good number of foam and the foam shows perfectly when dressed in a cup.

It's net volume is 300cl and the taste is so sweet as its surrounded by hops light bitter taste and its best served chilled.

Now, lets switch to where I enjoyed the beer.

There is a cool gathering that was organized by my organization for a special set of people and am honored to be included. The fixed time was 5:00pm and myself was present by 4:55pm because it's a special privilege given to me and I won't misuse it. 5 minutes later, the event started and at the end, we were served with different types of alcohol for one to chose which one to drink.

Ahh, look and behold, there comes Champion lager beer. What an opportunity for me to have a taste of champion once more in life. So I picked a bottle of champion beer and enjoyed it with jollof rice and chicken.

Other people also enjoyed along with me.

Conclusion

As I set my eyes on champion lager beer, I inquired to know why it's out of stock for years now and people around told me that the company had issues but have settled it. So right now, it's available in my state and I can taste it any time I wish. Am glad to hear that. You too my reader can as well have a taste of it in your city but make surr you're up to 18+ years because it is alcohol.
