First Hive Meetup in Aba, a day to remember!!

Greetings from Nigeria!!!

This is me marajah bringing you the latest report of how our hive meetup took place on Tuesday the 1st day of April 2025 as it happened live here in Aba directly inside our boss office which is the same venue where happy customer supermarket is located too.

That very day as soon as we kicked off, fokusnow addressed us and introduced the first speaker by the name @luchyl to lecture us on the need for consistency. According to her speech, she mentioned that consistency is a very hard thing to do but yet, the easiest way to grow in Blockchain especially here in hive. She talked about her experience starting from when she joined hive down to today. Her speech motivated me to action. Yea, if she can make it her priority to post regularly and to maintain consistency, myself can as well do same. I greatly appreciated her sayings.

Next was @ijelady.

She spoke on the need to microblog. She inspired us to action when she made it clear that microblogging is the easiest way to pass and receive informations both here in our country and the world at large. During her speech, she opens our heart and minds to know that if one is consistent with microblogging e.g ecency waves and Leo threads, the person can easily earn good votes and support and same time, contribute meaningfully to hive Blockchain.

During her speech, each person payed rapt attention so as to learn because she's quite a motivational speaker always ready to motivate people around her to action.

The last speaker was @fokusnow.

He gave us reasonable inspirations why we should promote spendhbd and hive on web2 platforms like X. He also gave clear tutorials on how to do so. During his speech, he also advised us to participate in #hive-echo contests in X and hive. Additionally, he demonstrated the need for each of us to figure out a niche on how to promote spendhbd and hive in our own way and to follow it up.

Conclusion

My stay at the meetup exercise wasn't in vain because I learnt mighty lessons regarding the need to improve my consistency and to promote spendhbd to any level I could including hive in general.

At the expiration of the meetup, a mug branded with hive logo served as souvenir and all those that supported the meetup with some contributions received theirs. Myself also received mine. Take a look at some cool pictures we took. We were about 25 in number.
