HBD MARKETING BIZ: Workshop #2: Two newbies joined hive, one wrote her introductory post immediately

‎On Monday the 12th day of May 2025, I hosted a big workshop at Young Directors Tech World. This is the second time I hosted a workshop there and both workshops yielded positive results.

‎Now, let me narrate full details about the workshop...

‎Before moving to the workshop venue, I went to happy customer supermarket where I purchased a new hive branded T-shirt and cap with hbd Thereafter, I boarded tricycle to 173 hospital Rd which is the workshop venue. Reaching there, I met @iamchimary who was already seated waiting for my arrival.

‎First and foremost, I greeted the director of the hub and she was preparing lessons she will teach them. So she asked me to move on while she's arranging the lessons. So she introduced me properly to her hub members or students. Apart from @cokee and the hub manager, all the other faces was entirely new.

‎Then, I started in a way that intrigued them to join hive and spendhbd. I first started with how they as digital marketers can benefit from hive platform and spendhbd as a community. Since they do buy those goods whenever a customer requests for them, I I made it clear to them with this idea that they can make all their purchases with hbd, claim discounts, sell to their customers, make profit, and same time, make quality videos with a post here on hive and also earn.

‎While lecturing and educating them, I always put on a smiling face to help them feel relaxed while grabbing all the points.

The class lasted for about 30 minutes. At the end, one of the students asked various questions like: The benefit of the platform while giving out discounts to customers?, what I will benefit if I succeed in onboarding a newbie?, and what it will take for one to join hive?

‎After answering all her questions perfectly, she asked me to proceed with her registration. Her name is Obiageli and her username is @obycity.

‎The marvelous and incredible thing that happened that very day is this woman's introductory post. Do you know that immediately after her registration, she asked me the way forward and I made it clear to her that before she proceeds to doing other things in the platform, she must first of all introduce herself to the platform by writing a proper introductory post.

‎She asked if she can write it immediately and I said yes. Then she proceeded.

While waiting for her, I utilized the opportunity in registering another newbie with the username @chidon2016.

After setting up her profile, she asked me if she can have a taste of how spendhbd is, though, she's with little amount of money. I asked if she have money in her wallet, then, I will show her how to convert Fiat to hbd using ezabay. But she told me there is no much money in her account. Instead, I should permit her to give me fiat while I send hbd to her wallet.

‎I sent 0.667 to her and we visited God's own supermarket located beside the workshop venue. There, she spenthbd and was so excited to claim discount from thedistriator. I guided her until she was done with her claiming.

Then, I rushed back to Young directors tech world to guide obycity while she makes her introduction post as her spirit is hot.

‎Reaching there, she was already waiting for my guidance. I taught her how and where to paste her write up, tags, topic and how to put the community you want to post in. Also, I guided her on how to discover communities, subscribe and even how to follow people and why.

‎After arranging her post, she posted her introductory post. I also showed her how to comment and why it is necessary. More to that, I also forwarded this post link by @livinguktaiwan to her so she can see the 3 most important steps she must take as a beginner in hive platform.

‎She felt so excited and we departed to our various destinations. Other students wanted to join too but I couldn't sign all of them up at the same time because @iamchimary left immediately after the workshop for her field work since the permitted time have expired. Therefore, I promise to sign the other people up on my next visit.

‎I left the venue by 6:25pm. It is true that it wasn't that easy for me, but as a trusted local guide, am doing what am suppose to do. It is my work and am ready to do it to the core because my people must know about spendhbd.
