Mentoring and guiding a newbie in writing his introductory post: last day of the spendhbd promotion
The last day of the promotional activity which I conducted at Asso gas station business located at Umuohia village along Odogwu road Umukalika was not all that fruitful because of two factors that interrupted the promotional activity.
As usual, humans in general or do i say some have this mentality that whenever they hear new ideas, they will keep on playing hide and seek waiting for others to play first so they can know if it is genuine, real or fake. That was exactly what I experienced on the last day of the event. That very day which was on Tuesday the 17th day of June 2025, as many have heard that we are ending the activity that very day, and that some people have registered and get real discounts, they came around for their registrations and to purchase with hbd. Now remembering that many of them thinks that hive and spendhbd is scam, I first explained to them that @thedistriator app is down and under maintenance or upgrading. Therefore, if I should register them, they will not be able to purchase and get discounts immediately. But later, once it is fixed, they can. They refused to sign up with their negative mindset.
Nevertheless, my day went successfully as I utilized it positively in directing and guiding a newbie that joined hive the previous day on how to write his introductory post. I spent all my time mentoring and guiding @johnnwachukwu over hive criteria, alignments, do's and donts.
During the course of his mentorship, I warned him seriously about plagiarism and using any form of AI in his post. I went as far as making it clear to him that if he should engage into such act, I will not protect him once I discovered such, even before hive-watchers. He accepted and his introductory post and mentorship consumed the whole day from 11:05am down to 5:00pm.
Although there was no new sign up that very day, yet, to me it was indeed successful since I utilized the time in mentoring and guiding a newbie both on how to post and how to put necessary alignments.

Wow this is wonderful to read I know how difficult it might be for you just to make everyone know how great hive is concerning human beings when it comes to something that is not paying first or getting cash quickly they will not want to put their mind into it and how you took your time just to make sure that newbie understood everything all about hive and everything else in it so he enjoyed the very best in all that the platform has to offer for him 😁👏
